What do you think of Marilyn Manson?
Is he annoying? Stupid? Smart? Does he and his music pollute peoples minds? What do you think of his music? Does his music encourage to use drugs?

I think his music is good, but I'm not sure what to say about the artist himself. He sings a lot about drugs and guns and stuff, but what I'm not sure about is that is he actually against drugs or does he encourage their use.

who gives a flying fuck about messages and stuff. The guy has a serious talent for guitar and electronic music. The way he sings is awesome (sometimes) and this new album of his is excellent.

I quite like the music, and I think the man himself is intelligent (and quite funny in interviews) What I don't like is the way he just sort of tries to offend the world. I think his image detracts from his music.

Well actually I used to think he was a weird freaky metal head guy who was just annoying, but that was when I was small minded (more so). I like the new song "this is the new *hit" it's actually quite entertaining, without being any different from most other contemporaries in the genre. I think he is going to be a scary out there kinda guy forever because he makes his image that way. But hey, eminem is like that too, not that he's scary.

I agree, it's just music! I have respect for him cos it's just his job, and he doesn't care what people think, he just enjoys doign what he does. And it's not his fault people do whacked up shyt. That's their own fault!

To be honest i don't like his music (its a lil to weird for me) but rock and roll was created as a kind of rebellious genre and he is one of the few who are keeping that idea going which is something to respect. Plus you can't blame music for making people want to kill, unless marylin came to there homes and put a gun to their head forcing them to shoot school kids then he hasn't forced anyone to do anything

Whenever someone starts blaming music or games or TV or movies for their own crimes and misfortunes it makes me want to flood the world and drown out this whole shitty society we live in.

It's the PARENTS fault if their children are gunning up schools, NOT MUSIC. If the parents had being doing their job as parents, then the kids wouldnt be fucking shooting everything, the label on the cd's and music says not for children, yet the parents buy it for them anyway!

And if an adult especially is shallow enough to think that 'the music' is forcing him to shoot or kill or drown puppies, then nuts to them.

I say marilyn manson should make a song about how cool it is to kill yourself. Then all the retards out there that actually think that they have to obey lyrics and songs will die. Everyone wins. Except, of course, the greedy son of a bitch parents.

I remember being not too sure about the guy a few years back, but I'd never actually listened to the music, and just presumed it should be pants cause of the hype and mainstream opinioned poo.

I must say that when I saw his interview in "Bowling For The Columbine", I was quite impressed. He seemed like a smart guy, who had some good opinions about the state of our society. But it really isn't his or his music's fault if someone shoots someone or him/herself.
