Custom Avatars

I dont know if this has been covered in antoehr thread and I just didnt see it, but if it hasn't maybe it could be here...

Can you set a custom avatar yet?
Will we ever be able to?
If we can, how?

I hate to be a pest, but...

Custom ones are not currently an option. There are however 100 odd w&b ones you can choose from.

User uploadable ones is sommat we thinking about for the future.

Plus they could be offensive, or have bright colors :eek:

I wasnt sure, since just about everything in the "Avatars" section seemed to allude to it, so I thought I'd ask.

I suppose you have a point about offensive avatars, but then they could just be changed via/ admin, right?
I suppose that's not something they want to spend time doing / looking out for, though.
