come in and play roulette!

About the money: prize money (up to 35:1) is paid by my own rupees. I have dough so i can be a proper bank.
Statistically, the bank will make a profit of 2,7%. This money will be added to the pool of competition prize money. Yes, you have to trust me on that :)

I currently have 2100 rupies that are for competition prize money purposes. I will not use them to pay roulette winnings.
If the total winnings > my total money - 2100, you broke the bank

So, what are the possibilities to bet?

We'll play with a single zero table
Check the pic (sadly in my next post):

You can bet on:
A) one number (eg number 3): pays 35 to 1
B) two numbers (eg 8 & 9): pays 17 to 1
C) three numbers (eg 13, 14 & 15): pays 11 to 1
D) four numbers (eg 17, 18, 20 & 21): pays 8 to 1
E) first four (eg 0, 1, 2, 3): pays 8 to 1
F) six number (eg 28, 29 , 30, 31, 32, 33): pays 5 to 1
G) 12 numbers (eg 2nd column) pays 2 to 1
H) 12 numbers (eg 1 to 12) pays 2 to 1

Odd or even pays even money 1:1
Red or black pays even money 1:1
1-18/19-36 (low/high) pays even money 1:1
split columns or split dozens are not allowed. (if you don't know what that means, don't be bothered with it :) )

So, a possible bet could be:


Hello there p00fb1rd!

I bet 1 rupee on my lucky number 24 (would get 35:1 if it is indeed 24)
and 3 rupees on 31, 32, 34, 35. (betting four numbers, would get 8:1)
and 5 rupees on Odd (would get 1:1, which in this case would be 10 rupees)


Note: the zero is odd nor even, black nor red and is not part of the columns or dozens, nor the high nor the low.

when you bet you receive your prize money + your initial bet.
So if you bet one rupee on a single number, you will receive 36 rupees (35 to 1, + your initial bet).

you can now place your bets.

Place your bets in this thread, and donate me the rupees.

This will be possible till wednesday 21st of april at 14:00 english time.
Then i will say 'no more bets' and randomly select a number (again, trust me on that).
I will announce the winning number and pay out the prize money. A new date and time will be set for the next round, and new bets may be placed.

note: this first round is a test round. the rules may change, or this may be the only game we'll play

In the row of orange buttons on top click "store". Go down a little bit and on the list of possible actions click on "donate money to another user". It's the only free action. Type in the name exactly: PoofBird

Capitals and spaces (or lack of) count. From there just follow the instrucitons. Hope this helps :)

I don't want to waste my laboriously earned rupies, so I will just kibitz and give people advice. Here's a theoretically surefire way to make a little money, but it only works for sure if you have an infinite supply of rupies. Otherwise, you still need a shred of luck and a lot of patience. Also, the thread has to last long enough for it to pay off. You may have heard this before (as well as horror stories of its failures). Here it goes:
1. Bet some rupies on something like red or odd that has a one-to-one payoff.
2. If you lose, do the same thing with twice as many rupies.
3. Repeat step 2 until you win once. Then start over.
To show you how this works, let's say you start off with 2 rupies on black, and lose five times, then win. You would have spent
62 rupies (2+4+8+16+32) before your winning round. On that round, you bet 64 rupies and won 128 (64*2), leaving you with a net of 64 rupies. Since you previously spent 62 rupies, you just made a profit of 2 rupies. This may seem like a very small amount, but it is almost foolproof unless you have terrible luck. Additionally, rich people can do it with more rupies, and over and over again. Over a long time, it could add up. Or you could have terrible luck and lose everything.

for a bet on black, or even, it would currently be
(13.000 something / 2) / 2 = 3250
note that these amounts will vary all the time.
note that this isn´t a strict guideline, just a hint on what is acceptable, to keep this game fun.

3) just see it as a bit of fun, please

4) if you don´t think these rules are fair, don´t bother coming in here. You must take my word I am doing this fair. If you don´t believe me, don´t bet here.

I did not realize that upset you poofbird. I was jesting when i said i wanted to break the bank. If you want to know my motivation for betting all my money it is because i planned on leaving these forums (its just time for me to find a new forum I think) and thought i would do something amusing with all my rupies before i left. If i had won i probably would have had fun handing out rupies to people i like.
