View Full Version : Banking.
If you can Ash, maybe it would be easier for the lottery/Casino/other betting rupie holders to put there rupies in a bank.
If you could get a hack for a Bank to store the Rupies in.
Someone could get very bored and - all there post's and they would'nt have any rupies. Then war would break out (That's if you are to obsessed by rupies).
Or is there already some special way?
Just thought it would be easier.

I like the idea but is it really neccesary?
I mean, like Streety and AngryPaul have their sports betting thread (Perfect for this forum, eh? :D) but they both have well over £2000 each so they can deal with it.
Actually...I think I just understood...it would be a place where people can donate their rupies into their own bank account so no one can - them to death...rendering -s pointless?
I dunno...I'd like a webmonkey to explain if there are any opportunities for this sorta thing though..
Also interest is a factor.

As far as I'm concerned, you shouldn't start a betting thread if you don't have the financial backing. I was going to start a roulette thread a few days before PoofBird started his, but I'm not nearly rich enough to pay people large amounts if they get lucky. It's a shame, though, since Poofy seems to be making large amounts very single time.
But that's neither here nor there. The point is that you should evaluate the risk before starting a betting thread. If one person -'ing you a lot will bankrupt you, then you are in no condition to start a betting thread.
And if you somehow lose so much money that you can't pay winners, you can always sell your soul to the Old Timer Rupie Loan Co.
A bank could also be easily abused by spammers, unless Ash has more tricks up his sleeve than I thought.

Untrue. Poofbird looses rupies in most games. It only takes one high better to win.

True, Poofy is now losing rupies at a ratio of around 1000:1 - being close to just under £1000 rupies per round.
Zoikes comes to mind

Well, at first he was winning a lot (enough to buy a glow), and statistically he should make a profit. His losses are just by chance. And it doesn't just take one high winner, because there are always high losers too. It's just bad luck for PB that more people are winning big than losing big. And he's not losing that much. His losses last round were 124 rupies. Additionally, losing "at a ratio of 1000:1" doesn't make any sense in the context that you gave, Cap'n Zola. What's that a ratio of? Losses to gains? That wouldn't make sense, as you can't have gains if your losses are higher.
Edit: I just scanned the entire thread, and I believe PoofBird is still up overall, despite having two really bad spins.

He was only cheeky enough to buy a glow after Rogue donated her 4-6 thousand rupies to him! :p
I think others donated as well because I remember him having around 15,500 rupies at one point, not long ago.

Perhaps, but he also had a very good streak in which a lot of people were losing a lot of rupies. And I'm sure all of the replies and +es to the roulette thread helped him as well. Regardless, that thread has made him quite wealthy (and feared).

Could I be the bank, and hold people's rupies etc. ? We may get a bank store hack, but in the mean time.. please could I? If i spend the money myself the admins can go into my account and get the money back. Ive got no idea how.. but there must be a way. please?
Sorry The Bank but we need a built in forum bank. Helps if you read the top post to see why we dont have user's as banks.
