Online Football Management Game

I posted this before, but now it seems like more relevant being a sport ;) I need a few players to get the season started.

The Game
I have set up a site that plays by email (PBEM) You select a team and you recieve your team-sheet and fixtures by email. Games are then played twice weekly and the results and game reports are put on the site for managers to check.

The Features
Managers are able to discipline, scout, buy, sell and loan players. Managers are also selected for pre and post-match interviews that apppear on the site.

The Winnings
The highest placed forumites in the league recieves a winnings of:
1st = £350
2nd = £250
3rd = £125

So, hows it done? Do I send anything back or do I get another email on matchdays? I'v never done email ones before, just normal online ones like on BBC sport.

Ah, Oky. Two more questions though :D

one, It says week one alot, but when actually IS week one?

and two, when can I make transfers? I'v already found our weakest areas ect, and found who I want to buy, but do I have to wait untill the next email?

EDIT: Plus i'm a little confussed. Is it actually at weeki one because I loooked at the table and it seems to be more like week eight.

You can start transfers when that date is announced. It would be unfair if I let you buy players before any other managers arrived to challenge bids. You can send a bid email whenever, but only after the Week One has been finalised :D

Here. The dummies guide to AP's email footy game.

How to play

Step 1- Choose a team. All the teams are available, apart from FC mersey (its me) and I think Glasgow U.

Step 2- Email JAKEMASTER_J@HOTMAIL.COM with the following info...

NAME -
ADDRESS -


E-MAIL ADDRESS -
TEAM PREFERED -

AGE -
SEX -
HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THE JFL? -
HOW OFTEN DO YOU CHECK YOUR E-MAILS? -
WHAT TEAM DO YOU SUPPORT? -


Step 3- If you get the team you wanted, AP will send you an email to tell you this. Also, attached to the email will be a Word document containing your squad, transfer budget and some other info.

Step 4- One day before matchday (Usually Wednesday, sometimes saturday) AP will send you another email. When you recieve this, you should send back your team selection, formation, and anything else you need to do such as bidding for players on the transfer market.

Its weird how nobody has taken the two sides that have won the thing more than anyone else (Leeds and Bristol). Especially Leeds, 7 in a row?!

They differ slightly but not really that much, and you only find out after so you cant just pick the richest team ;)

I'm hardly gunna have any cash after we start. I already got my eye on two players on the transfer list,. I'll prob sell a couple of players I don't need too....I seem to have many good strikers

And that 'You never know- other teams might be intrested' works both ways for my plans. I dont think they will be though, the ones I'm gunna let go are a couple of 65'ers and a 70 something striker.

Sea - It considers morale, attributes (eg: 70) and whether they are played in the correct position or not.

:eek: Cant beilev I over looked this as well - with the team sheet, I need you to name 5 subs (3 can be used) that the gaming environment will automatically make thoughout your game through injury, poor performance, etc

When my friend comes online, I have to basically drop everything to work on our site because we want to get it up by the end of the week. So basically, Since you said you wanted the new thread up tonight, I think it would be best if we get this started ASAP, I dont want to have to stop half way through.
