Hehe, I, being only new here, was wondering if you guys had ever tried to make a rupie lottery? Just a simple same as the lotto thingy?
(i would do it myself, if i had any rupies to fund it, but surly one of you rich people could do it real easy)

was thinking more along the lines of, you buy a lottery tickek for 1 rupie, and then on wednesday (or saturday) if your numbers came up for real, then you get rupie payout in similar fasion to how real lotto works
(dont understand how bingo works to know if that would be a good idea)

Ahhh, nice.
I see one flaw to your plan though...you have only 3 rupies...

I was thinking about doing something like this, but the odds on winning are so ludicrously high, that it really wouldn't be worth it.
I was thinking along these lines:
1 ball matched = 5 rupies
2 balls matched = 10 rupies
3 balls matched = 20 rupies
4 balls = 50
5 balls = 100
6 balls = 200
but for 200 rupies the odds are 14 million to one.
3 was 1/57
Wouldn't you just kick yourself if your numbers came up in the lottery, and you didn't buy a ticket :) 200 rupies just wouldn't make up for it!

Thankyou Tofufi
but shirly if enough people played it would become worth it, possibly?
and yes it would be hilarious if some one did get all the balls correct
Edit: My appologies to all, it seems that the FAQ says i shouldn't be coming up with ideas to run the lottery (Rule #1)
If this idea is not going to run, i think i will ping this thread all the way to hull

I'm not sure peple would pay for those odds.
I was going to run it as a free lottery, and if it was a sucess, it would be funded by the replies.

I htink it is a good idea if we get, say, 5 rich-ish people backing it. The tickets could cost 1-10 rupies per time, and similar prize amounts to the real lottery, with the maximum winning being £10000 rupies, possibly without rollovers.
edit: and say 30 rupies for 4 correct numbers or something.
Sure you could in the future
I rated + to help you get furthur on that road.
