So who is your team signing/releasing/ eating before next season begins?
What are the rumours?
Who would look good in a (Colour) shirt?
Liverpool are signing Dijibril Cisse for sure.
We are supposed to be signing Drogda but it wont happen.
And id love to see Veira or Mexes ina reds shirt.
Yours?
I don't think we have much chance but I want Pennant to stay at Leeds but apparently he thinks he's going to become a 1st team player at Arsenal :(

Boro shall sign on Mills and Zenden:D we need a decent stricker... Bring Larson to the Boro:D:D:D:D:D:D:D not Heskey (Past it) or Vicuda (too many needless red cards)

Celtic - Amoroso from Dortmund and Francis Jeffers and his brother should be coming in...
Chelsea - So much speculation - especially of Beckham and if Beckham went then Ronaldo would follow and Roberto Carlos too. But nahh.
The only definite signings I know of are Walter Samuel (Argentine) coming from AS Roma and Peter Cech (Czech) coming from some place...he's the Czech Republic keeper and will make an excellent replacement/back-up for Cudicini...

w00t Liverpool sold Heskey to Birmingham for £1m. i'm sure they must have paid Birmingham to take him off their hands though!

chelsea got samuel??? woo and yay, hopefully robben will kick some ass.
BAD news, chelsea re selling gronkjaer to B'ham, even though he scores superjesperwondergoals, it makes me cry.
i hope the hoops don't get jeffers, he's a waste. we definitely need to replace larsson though, there will be a massive gap.
plastic vicar, did u say heskey past it? he is 26 (is) but viduca is a twa.
a lot of clubs will be after drogba, he has certainly impressed, i wouldnt be surprised if morientes and deco are linked to clubs as well.
if tottenham get all the players they are linked to, they will be the best club in europe

as is expected newcastle are snooping around the remnants of leeds team... we wont be happy till we've signed the whole side...
also talk of kluivert has been linked with us (as he has since we beat barca in the CL a few years back...
also more talk of carr for us, but i believe most of this is idle speculation. if i had my way i would sign carr, a left sided defensive midfielder (ala hargreaves) and james beattie.
but as is the norm with newcastle, i have no idea what to expect from us.
wright-phillips isnt going neither is barton or james as keegan said hes not letting them go no matter how high the bid.

Wouldn't be so sure, y'know.

He might as well. I wouldn't put money on him staying.
or james
Because nobody wants him, that's why :p
as keegan said hes not letting them go no matter how high the bid.
News for you - Managers lie sometimes.
no he said there bringing in too much money and if he sells them he'll lose money.

Has Smith gone to ManUre yet?
And great find.

not yet. Dunno why they want him, unless RVN is leaving, and even if he is they can get so much better quality than Smith

They'll rotate Smith and Saha, United need another striker. Every club needs about 4 and ManYoo are going to kick Forlan out. Thus Smith will be Striker Four.

i know they need more strikers, but they can do a lot better than Smith imo, also they should let the partnership between Saha and Van Nistelrooy develop as i thik they could be prolific.

i wonder if he'll be as successful as he was at West Ham :nana:
I really don't Smith would be stupid enought to go to man u.
He knows what the fans will think if he did.

indeed, his balls really would be between a grinder, he has spent too much time slobbering over the leeds crest to betray them in such a way. For the sake of his interests he should go to europe, he will have better prospects and could return to leeds if they get back on their feet.

And Everton's made a bid for Smith. *strokes pretend beard* Veeeeeeeeery interesting
Smith united or everton... id say everton as united are shit and if he went to united then leeds fans would hate him.

I cant see him going to Everton, can anyone? i thought Newcastle was his most likely destination until Leeds said about ManUs bids
PlasticVicar
20-05-2004, 05:50 PM
out of the 4 bids received everton are the only one not in europe... so they are probebley the least likley

yeah, i expect he'll probs come and join up with his old leeds pals up here in newcastle... :p
dont know if he's the answer to newcastle's problems though. potential replacement for shearer? i think not, i hope he comes and proves me wrong. but im not convinced. :p
I want him to go abroad personally, but ti looks like he's off to Man U (bast**d) aparently there his choice - IF HE KISSES THIER BADGEr I WILL PERSONALLY CHOP HIS BALLS OFF, LIQUIDISE THEM AND MAKE HIM DRINK THEM
