so first we beet them at rugby

then we discover we invented the boomerang

but to top it all off i just witnessed the english beeting there world record for ramp jumping whilst towing a caravan by a full 30 feet!

whoes up for proving that we sent all our kangaroos over there first and we invented them?

first, we've been thrashing you for years with a team made up of players from only 1/3 of the states.

I do believe there is an unwritten rule about not targeting specific groups. i'd insult your country but a) i'm not like that about sport and b) i'd be insulting a majority of my family and a majority of the forum members.

Australia is one of the nicest countries in the world. Sure we beat em at Rugby...but when did we win anything before that? 1966, and that wasn't even in the same sport. I think we should face facts. We're pretty average at sports. We're not the best in the world at any sport, in fact we're not even in the top five in any, possibly barring Rugby.

Plus, Autralia being so nice, you would think someone who insults it would be living in Spain or somewhere really nice, but Birmingham?! Wtf?

I saw the Caravan Jump and it was most amusing... however I don't think its really a matter for national pride. Woo I can jump further than you in a car and trash it, a caravan and numerous other cars at the same time!!! Big! Fat! Hairy! Deal!

Australians are a damn fine bunch of ex crims who are only annoying when they get drunk and feel the need to shout "OZZIE OZZIE OZZIE!" around certain pubs in Shepherds Bush. The country that invented the banana and strawberry smoothie deserves our full love and respect. And who cares who invented the damn boomerang anyway? Its a stick ... it comes back. It's a country I hope to emigrate to soon.

And its spelt A-U-S-T-R-A-L-I-A... if you are going to insult an entire country it helps if you spell it correctly unless you intend to make an amusing pun from it ... like Snoreway!

ok people can you not see a joke!

this all started after watching 5th gear seeing the caravan jump and thinking

"are we just out to find small obscure things we can beet the australians at?"

besides the australians didn;t invent the boomerang the aboriginals did

given a choice i would reather live over there!

did no one detect the sarcasm in the comment about the kangeroo?

i hate the internets non-ability to comunicate sarcasm
