I can't figure it out. On the FAQ is says edit your profile and put in the User status field. I can't find the User status field.

If the administrator has enabled custom status titles, then you can specify the text you want to display by editing your profile and entering the text you want in the Custom User Text field.

The admin has fixed user status for registered users...
It'll change in time, depending on your posts...

You will just have to wait...

Oh, and before you ask, mods and admins *can* set custom status :D

Because I would like to change my user title to Silenteye

You should really have a lot of rep if you want to do that. like 5000 points, or 10 '+' below your name

Not the case nowadays, it's whenever/whatever the mods feel it should be, when they think you have earned it you'll get it

That's only for avatars I believe.

I thought it was for both - status & avatars

EDIT: cause I got to the mark for the status and still nothing, so...

5000 rep - custom title abilities
Mods discretion - Custom title, custom avvy.

Chavvy is right, custom titles are at 5000 and not earlier.
Avatars are at the moderators' discretion.
Sorry to disappoint to the people who really want one, but we want to keep them exclusively for users that have posted well over a longer time.
Hope that clears things up for another 2 months :p
