you squirm your way through the betting threads at the top to the main hub of sports and bets, but alas! there is no martial arts. so here it is. just a place to talk about different martial arts and moves, stuff like that. ill start off then, im an orange belt in karate, starting kickboxing soon. anyone else?

Been done, so I think half the forum knows, but I like bragging.

I've been doing Kung-Fu for 8 years. I started when I was almost 7 and am now almost 15. I have 3 black sashes, 2 junior and one adult.

The school owner is a world champion and in the hall of fame. It has already produced 2 other world champioins, both of whom are also in the hall of fame. They were inducted at the same time. One was 15 and the other 14, making her the youngest inductee.

The elite group of about 12 which I'm on does competition. Us plus a few talented and cute little kids (because it makes it more tangible to parents and shows them a wide range of talent) do demonstrations.

The competitors (tournament team) went down to Texas a few weeks ago for the world championship qualifiers. We emerged with a bunch of spots, including two for me. I am on in boys 13-17 under 112 lbs. fighting and am the alternate in boys 13-17 weapons.

We travel to Geneva, Switzerland for a week in September. The venue is enormous. It is used for concerts and many other things. Imagine this: about 80 divisions, each with 3 competitors from every one of 90 countries, or 80 divisions each with 270 competitors.

For I think 5 days you have to be there every minute from about 9 in the morning to sometimes past midnight.

I can't wait :D
