Well, from the list above, I'd have to say Macca (the only one I saw).
That said, I dont think anyone was better, but James Brown and the Chemical Brothers came damn close. I wasnt expecting much from the chems, was going to leave half way through and see the rest of Dave Clarke (who was amazing, apparently), but they were so damn good I stayed till the end.

I watched Oasis and McCartney from my tent. They were... well pretty poor really. McCartney had some great Pyrotechnics and we all drunkenly sung along to hey Jude. But other than that they could have had some much better bands on. as for Oasis. Bag of Wank.
Morrisey was pretty bad as well. I think the Best were James Brown(not on your poll) and Muse. But actually i dont think most of the headliners were great on any stage this year. accept Muse. It was definately the year for the more obscure bands. I cannot understate how amazing Damien Rice was.

And that isn't relevant.
Compared to last year, this years line up was a bit wank I think. Muse were good, and they had some good hip-hop and trance acts gatheredaround in various tents (I think Ty was in the dance tent or something), but from the point of view of what I saw on tv, it wasn't great.

At 2am you couldn't get away from them. They were everywhere. But they wouldn't have shown any of it on the telly and I think that's something that should be changed. The coverage doesn't really make the effort to get involved in the festival properly (eg. going to the glade at 2am or the stone circle) that's what they need to do. With the coverage they only show you a little bit, the major headliners and acts. They tend to miss out on a lot of the important stuff. As I said this year was a great year for more obscure acts, the sort that will, at best, get onto the other stage at 11:00 on Saturday morning.
You should write to the BBC and complain.

I was camped about 200 yards from the stone circle, nearest stage clearly the glade, both blew my mind quite frankly.
McCartney was good, I love the Beatles and I'll never hear them songs played live by the original members as long as I live, but it did seem slightly stale compared with some of the other moments.
Watching Krafty Kutz at 3.00pm in the Glade when I thought I'd missed them kicked ass, its definitely the little stages that make glasto. Even boogying outside t-shirt stalls to acid techno at 4 in the morning ruled, I have to go back there or I will wither and die.
