I never liked her when she was alive and I sure as hell don't like her now. I think she was probably a victim of being rich and self absorbed.

The only motive for killing Diana that I can think of was that she was a simpering little ****. On the other hand I'm sure someone wanted to bump off her boyfriend because he was an annoying little **** as well.
Note - **** does not mean anything in particular just a random profanity.

Don't care. But probably not.

I think you should start a debate with your own viewpoints, not just ask for ours.
And if you don't care, as you say, why start it at all?

Eh. I am tired of hearing about it. It's a shame she died young. It's always a shame for the young to die, in my opinion. We all gotta go sometime. We can't dodge that one forever.
Goodbye, Diana. Carry on, Harry and Wills. That is all.

She was a power hungry gold-digger. She marrried a man she wasn't interested in because she liked the idea of being the future king of England and had a string of affairs. Ever noticed that Prince Harry looks like his father? No, not Charles, Major James Hewitt (note: That sentence is pure conjecture on the part of the author and may not be true therefore you can't sue me)
Like I said I had no respect for the woman while she lived and I was quite frankly sickened by the "National Outpouring of Grief" that followed. See the below picture for evidence of the conjecture above.

I can still remember being woken up by my mother the day Diana died - it was a sunday, and I don't recall knowing who she was.
I thought the reaction of the nation was a bit OTT, but would hardly say I was sickened by it. Let people grieve if they want to, no-one pushed it in my face.
To be honest I never really cared for her as a person, but leaving the child legitimacy issues and so forth aside she did do something that very few people in her position have ever done. She made use of her position in the royal family to help other people around the world. Yes it may have just been a fraudulent image kept up for her own self-promotion or even the family's, but a large number of people were helped by her.
Blimey, that sounds incredibly pro-Diana doesn't it? :? It was unintentional. I think it's a shame she died young, as I think it's a shame a 14 year old was killed in a school today, but my concern does not stretch beyond the concern one should have for children left without a mother (and I don't particularly like William and Harry anyway, so that concern is limited anyway, I'm a bit anti-Royal at heart).
In regards to the 'debate', I don't think she was murdered. Who would have the motive? She did a huge amount of good for the royal family's image, offended very few people (apart from me at times with the amount her 'good deeds' were pushed into the face of the public - thousands of other people do much more good and get nowhere near the credit), perhaps there is something in Harry's fathership, but not a huge scandal.

A few weeks before she died my dad said "She'll be dead soon. The Royals won't let her marry an Arab.".
She may have been murdered to try and save the House of Windsor from an embarrassing connection to Mohammed Al-Fayed.
I was in bed with two ladies when I found out about Diana's death...

The "official" (reported by a biased press corp) French police finding is that the car wreck was purely an accident that happened when the limo driver was dodging paparazzi on motorbikes. The car flipped in the tunnel and the rest is history.
Other less reputable accounts contend that Diana was still alive when pulled from the wreckage but was allowed to die in the ambulance, that she was already dead before the car crashed, that the limo driver had been poisoned, and/or that there was a total coverup on the part of both English and French governments and that the truth is even more bizarre than anyone can imagine. I think that speculation will never reveal the truth and that her death will be as debated as the Kennedy assassination has been.
What we know for sure: She died young and plenty of people will never get over that.

Because the monarchy is like organised crime *mafia* (the riches, the lawbreaking, the power, the family ) It killed her as she was crearing some form of embarassment and spending their money.
I don't really give a flying OH BEHAVE YOURSELF wether she was killed though, i hate the way everything about the royals is so sensationalized, especially the way everyone mourned and things, giving silence and suchlike. I didn't see the point then and i don't see it now. She was a royal, so what, i would kill the royals for a penny (well... plus expenses) It's like the way prince william has a biography, i mean what does it contain :
"Jeeves took Prince william's breakfast up to him in the morning and said :
"you know, sir, you look wonderful today" at which point he recieved a wad of cash worth £5000 to go away and not write a book, of which he has now written three. THis went on for twenty years until william tried some weed. He took it very badly.
THE
END
" i mean come on!!!!

The future King eh! That probably explains why the Germans (ie. the royal family) had her whacked. They couldn't afford the embarassment of a royal sex change. Oh, we are not amused...Plus they didn't want her marrying outside of her skin pigmentation group as it would have messed up the census or something.

Very funny. Plese use PM for personal insults in the future.;)
Diana is dead. does it actually matter how or why? All the arguing and debating and investigating and hand-wringing in the world can't bring her back from the dead. She is apparently in a more peaceful place than this world, so why not let her rest in peace?
Go build another memorial or toss flowers at her gravesite. Pray for her children.

But please build the memorial without wasting more public money, thanks. I would like my taxes to go towards helping living people who are not from priveleged backgrounds.

Every few months when the tabloids don't have a good story they just have to bring up Diana again. At this point its just beating a dead horse, and no one actually cares. Its a shame that she died, but its been so overexposed, and everyone who can is trying to squeeze some money out of her memory.
