Nice work. It all looks very good, but why don't you try to draw something, instead of just cutting and pasting stuff together? If you can draw something original while maintaining the quality that you have now, it will be superb.

Drawing origional stuff is my goal. Right now I am still messing with Fireworks and seeing what I can do. I still takes me a good little bit of time to make those with erasing their backgrounds nicely so they can be used. Like the banana and Weebull are from the actual cartoon with a purple background. But thanks for the comments, and I hope I get to the drawing stage soon (I allready am quite good hand drawing on paper).

Once again stuff has been delayed. I got called to help my mother out today. Her car broke down so I drove over to help out. After calling towing places and repair shops that didn't answer or were busy we finally got the police to come help us get it off the busy street and get it towed. After giving her a ride to the Car Rental place to pick up a Pontiac Sunfire we parted and 4 hours had gone by. I had plans of getting my "copy" of Doom III today but that didn't happen so that also will have to get done tomorrow. So between all this and other normal life shi... stuff I haven't had time to get the next part done or re-host the images. I look to get them up today when I get up (9amish EST). My appoligies once again for the delays.

Well the strip might be done by late tonight. I am thinking of doing a Doom 3 spoof after I am done with this Scarface one. Almost 2 hours to make one hummer :D.

After seeing the great ad made by Boyinabox, I figured I might as well get around to making a new sig to advertise Jam Warz. I went for a hint of Doom III with the AvQuest font(used all over doom III website) and included the new hummer with my custom avatar holding a M16/M203. Hopefully I will get another preview of the up coming 16-2 installment before the night is over. So please tell me what you think of my sig.

The other episodes did take about 30min-1hr or better, but now just the vehicles that are going into it take 1hr-2hrs. So please bare with me as I work on it. After 2 and 1/2 hours I am now at Part 16-2f right before the Doom III spoof starts. It is almost 2am, but I will keep working on it till I get reallly tired. But if I don't finish it tonight (it is morning technically) I will finish it first thing after I wake up. So between 16-1 and 16-2 there should be around 16 images total.

[edit]For those that are interested it is 4:21am and my nearly 3 hours of making one peice for the doom 3 spoof is complete. I am close to going to bed. :D

Well it is considering I started off at the beggining of this thread having never used fireworks. I have had to slowly learn a lot of things. Getting that minigun to look like the one in Doom III took a really long time. Also with the vehicles I had to find images to use to make custom patterns etc. And on top of all this I would scrap parts because I thought they didn't look right and start over.

Yes thanks to Boy in a Box for the idea of using the first person perspective for the Doom III portion. I am messing with what I can do lighting wise in Fireworks. Many of you know one of the great features of Doom III is the realistic lighting and mood. Also I will still be doing guest appearances. You just might show up in the Doom III spoof area. Also Mini/Devil will be posting some jam warz dedications etc on here.

Nice Mini/Devil, very nice. I will + ya when I can. I have allready started work on 17. My focus is trying to make it have the creepy feel of Doom III. You obviously cannot do this to the point of scaring people in still frames, but if you have played Doom III you will notice some of the key elements I used.

A while back I had the idea for an Americas Army Squad. At that time I played AA very often. But over time I haven't been playing it. Jam Warz and Doom III has really been the consumer of my time. But anyway I found out tonight somone hacked the forums on my AA Squad's site. So probably I will have to help track down who did it etc. So this will be delaying the next Jam Warz. I was hoping people could tell by the screen shot above that Jam Warz Part 18 would be animated. It is only maybe 30 seconds long (probably not even that). I slowed down the frames so you could see everything, even though I did go for the quick paced panicy feel of Doom III while your in a battle. I worked on this straight through from 10am-3:30pm. I have made many Flash Websites, but this is my first stab at a cartoon, so don't be too hard on it. I tried to pay attention to a lot of the small details like the hud changing as stuff happened etc(and yes it gets magically unjammed). Well with all that said I hope you enjoy it!

I have been talking to Zekey about having a change of pace for the Jam Warz Cartoon. A lot of the current stuff is based off of my Doom III obsession. I have just finished the game and have some good ideas I want to implement before the cursing (I do try to keep this to a minimum) and excessive blood/gore is over. After a few more installments of Doom III Spoofs they will have won the war against the Jams. During this period I will try some new things going different directions with the cartoon. But as you know evil doesn't die forever. And their battle will again resume at some time. Thanks for the feedback!

Part 19 Update:

Currently part 19 is allready longer than part 18 (not hard to do) and I would like to say I am about 1/4 done. So far I have worked in Bionic Sheep and Ant 2oo4. I plan on maybe working in one or maybe two more appearances before Part 19 is finished. A lot of the content is once again based off of Doom III. And I am working hard to work in little parts that Doom III players will notice. But I am still trying to keep it fun for people that aren't quite big fans of the horror/violence series.

Guest Appearances Update:

There is no specific order that I put people in. As I think of the story line I see where maybe this person could go here etc. Some of you just don't really fit in the twisted dark world of the Doom III spoof. But that only means that you will be in the more comedy based section coming after this :). But who knows, make sure to stop in and see :D . Here is a little promo poster I made. It started off as a Fox dedication, and got expanded to this (you can see the dedication on Fox's thread).It goes nicely with the overall Doom III Spoof that I am doing. As you can notice Fox has been re-drawn to a much nicer brown color scheme. I think he looks a good bit better. Just something to hold you over until Part 19 is released.

Yes you can be in Jam Warz, I will again update the guest appearance list after the release of Part 19. Since you asked what a BFG is I will give you a little history on it, since it is in my cartoon.

BFG stands for Big Fucking Gun. It originated in the first Doom as the BFG9000 (BFG9K). It then made another appearance in Quake 2 as the BFG10,0000 (BFG10K) and in Quake 3 as the BFG10k (even though it sucked). It has most recently appeared in Doom 3 as the BFG9K once again. It is properly named the Big Fucking Gun due to the huge ass green plasma balls that it launches with a massive explosion. You can find screen shots of it in Doom 3 here (http://www.weebls-stuff.com/forums/showpost.php?p=470718&postcount=34) .

It is one of my favorite weapons hence why I am putting it in to part 19. I don't know if I am going to animate the front opening to fire or not, the would require a whole new hud to be made. But anyway, the BFG will be appearing in Part 19.

Part 19 is complete. After 500 frames and 25 layers you got just a tad over 60 seconds of animation. Currently it doesn't have the higher quality sound I wanted to use. I have to dig through my CD's to add that(which I will). But for now it stands at 1.8mb. And so its easy on the 56k users I zipped up so you can simply download it. The people with Flash can simply click the actual Flash movie, others will have to click the HTML file included. After all the hard work I think it was worth it. I hope it was worth the wait :D:

Just so you know Bionic Sheep was the first corpse, the mid boss was Ant 2oo4, and of course Blue Hippo gave out the BFG. Dr. Electro among a couple others appears in Part 20. Part 20 will begin "production" at some point this weekend maybe. I have been talking the story line over with Blue Hippo and a lot of details still have to be worked out. My vision is to make Part 20 on a much larger scale than Part 18 or Part 19. I am still looking forward to getting some more feed back on Part 19 also since it is still a new short release. So details are quite sketchy. But Part 20 looks promising. With some people on board helping (Blue Hippo and possibly 1 or 2 others) look for posts for people besides me on updates.
