As you all know the sports and bets forum nearlly died as rupies went.

Well now there is two alternatives. Chips and My forum.

Well how about we have it so every week you sign up for 100 chips here and i keep a record of what you have.

The Thread creaters send me a PM and tell me how many rupies you bet.
Then you could tell me when you have stopped it and tell me how much someone has won and i add it on to there total. The profit you make from one week like you say you end the week with 150 rupies, you can sign up again and that adds on to your total every week. So say you sign up for 100 bet it all on a 2/1 at AP betting shop and get 200 if you sign up again you get 300 chips, but if you don't you stay with the 200.

So what do you say. Credit goes to LeoZ for thinking of chips.

Sure if the thread holders wanna spend the time working out how much every single frum member has spent and won...

All sounds like too much trouble to me for people just to have some friendly bets..there doesn't need to be competition in it..

About now, the bets section of the forum is pretty much dead.

-------------RIP---------------

Bets section of sports and bets

Like Johnny said, it's too much hassle. Also, there's no starting point for chips unlike how they were gained with rupies - so people could just say *OMG i hav a billyon chipz0rs lol!!*

Having a virtual betting currency that stretches accross threads just seems far too compiclated. If people want to give out "chips" or any other form of virtual money in individual threads that seems fine - should be easy for the thread organiser to keep track. But keeping a track of this so it can be used in all the threads would just take too much time and effort?

I think Seaempty said it just there.

Too much hassle.
