Hi i was just wondering if anyone agreed with me on the idea that some of the stucked threads should be deleted!! for example a few of them have gone for quite a while now with no replies

What do other people think on this matter?

the reason i made this thread as opposed to just pm you dibbie is that by doing it this way public opinion can be gauged (i hope you dont find this insulting-sorry if you do)

Lots of sticky threads go for a while with no new replies.

Scram and Krats thread.

The Confessional

They have a low roar of activity, and are rarely posted in. But they are still posted in eventually and every now and then.

Sooooooo.......this is silly and ridiculous.

I don't find it insulting at all.

The reason for all the stickies is simple. Since I was given the task of moderating this particular forum I thought I would make it different to the others. Over the last few weeks there have been a number of faddy thread styles (best example: quotes from <insert media item here>). I find this a bit annoying because you find you have to wade down the page before you get to a topic worth reading about. To counter this if something is stuck then it is at the top and people are likely to look there first.

I know that the bigger stickies (Media Quotes, Official BB, etc) are getting regular posts but if you think that I should unsticky some, providing you can explain why, then I will be more than happy to do so.

I know that we had a bit of a spat in the past and I think that had we made a thread like this I would have been able to express myself a bit better.

I think that my style of modding is fair but if anyone has any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism then I am more than willing to hear it.
