What moments in games do you think would make really good film sequences? The only rule is that you cannot choose a moment already in a film, eg. The D-Day part during Medal Of Honour as that was in Saving Private Ryan.
My moments are:

1.) Spiderman (PS1) - the Subway sequence where Spidey takes on about 25 lizardmen. It was hard, but good.
2.) Devil May Cry (PS2) - Dante Vs. the Black Knight was a great fight. In fact, the whole game would make a good film.

The final fight between Link and Ganondorf, when Ganondorf turns into Ganon and you have to fight him on that crushed castle thing. And you have to dive between his legs and stab his tail to hurt him.

Fallout, where the Overseer tells you 'You a hero...but you have to leave the vault. You were corrupted from the outside world.'

He turns to go back into the vault.

You draw a pistol.

Guess the rest.

In Star Wars: KOTOR, when they tell you who you really are. That took me completely by surprise and it still makes me smile whenever I see it.

That was one of the best endings to a game ever...

I like the bit at the beginning of half life when you don't yet have the crowbar and the headcrab falls from the ceiling!

FF7- The Cloud giving the black materia to Sephiroth bit, and the cut scenes around that area.

FF9- Behamut vs Alexander, pure eye candy, but bloody brilliant stuff.

Cilization3- Me nuking america about 15 times with ICBM's. I would pay to see that...

Any of the main scenes in either of the Golden Sun games, especially the end where everyone starts fighting the three-headed dragon just as Kraden tries to tell you who it really is

Great gaming moments?

Devil May Cry 1, when you defeat Phantom for the final time.
Transformers, when you defeat Tank Megatron (the movie, I mean).
Diablo 2 Expansion set, when you defeat Baal and the movie after.

But, the greatest gaming moment I've experience would definately be when you defeat Final Ultimacea on FF8 for PS1- now THAT'S how the big bad should be taken down!

That gives me goosebumps everytime I do it, that game is fantastic.

I also liked the sequel, Majoras mask, it was quite satisfying beating that, especially at the end, but I don't think it was quite as challenging as the original.

Majora's Mask theme music was creepy as hell!

FF7 when Weapon attacks Junon. And when Diamond Weapon attacks Midgar. And probably quite a few other bits from FF7.

Vagrant Story would probably have some good movie bits too.

XIII would make a brilliant film, Infiltrating the SPADS camp or emerald base or plain rock mental asylum would make good scenes.

All of GTA3 and/or GTA: Vice City would make great movies!
They did make a Grand theft auto movie but it sucked.

The ending of Half Life where you have to choose your fate, work for the G-man or be killed. I loved the credits music as well!

All of Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War, especially the Helios ending in DX:IW.

I also find both of the Max Paynes amusing, just because of the slightly enthusiastic metaphors.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, at the very end. Just the whole beginning of the battle up to the point where link stabs gannondorf in the head. Bad ass. Also, when your in the castle for the first time and time unfreezes and you fight all those monsters. You could be able to make a cool fight scene out of that.

Way to spoil the game for some people. I've finished it, but some others haven't. Change it!

XIII is originally a cartoon. I've heard rumurs that it's going to be aired in Sweden (i live in Sweden. Lucky me)

Call Of Duty, charging up the hill into Stalingrad, completely unarmed, surrounded by dozens of other Russian soldiers.

Thief: Deadly Shadows, the horribly scary asylum mission.

Final level of my first ever PC game ever, Dark Forces.

And in Star Wars: Jedi Academy, cheating to form an army of Wookies and charging against enemy jedi. Fun.

The start of Sam & Max: Hit the Road would be great, with the duo rescuing a woman tied up, and then finding out that the mad scientist is in fact a robot with a bomb for a face! In fact, the whole game would be great as a movie. :) A detective-comedy.

Hey, why not get pissed at everyone else who "spoiled" the endings? Like what happens at the end of Far Cry or Half Life.

It's pretty obvious that this topic would have some endings on it. Shouldn't have read the entire post if you wanted to be careful, then!

the bit afterwards is brilliant.

Well that was some cheesey ambience music in the credits Sam!

What on earth are you talking about Max?

Is it that I've got termites in my head or is one of us ticking Sam?

Oops, sorry I forgot to throw the bomb away, where shall we but it now?

Throw it out the window, theres nothing but strangers out there!

*lobs out of window, BOOM!*

I hope there was nobody on that bus.

:D classic!

On Tony Hawk Underground where your player jumps the two hotels. Impossible and physic-destroying, but good.
I'm thinking of Sega moments, I don't think they are any. Shame, it's a good console.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 - The moment in the Canada level with the guy pissing in the river - all you had to do was hit him in the face with the board and he'd fall in...it was funny as hell.

CoD's Stalingrad part borrowed a lot from Enemy at the Gates, so it's practically a movie already ;)

The mission in Hitman 3 (can't remember the name), where you sneak into the hotel. Class.

In fact, lots of levels from the Hitman games would make good scenes.
