Firstly Shift+0 is ) not an equals sign and dos keys are exactly the same as everywhere else, the equal key two keys to the right of the 0 key, unless you are using a very strange keyboard.

Other than that that statment doesnt make much sense to me, care to tell us exactly what you are trying to do?

Dyslexia doesn't make you bad with numbers. I'm not.

DVORAK is a type of keyboard. you've most likely got a QWE(E)RTY keyboard, which will be the first 6 (or 7) letters on the top line.

Sounds to me like someone's got the wrong keyboard layout selected. If I remember right, you have to modify a line in autoexec.bat that refers to keyb.exe.

A quick google search suggests: "keyb uk,,c:\windows\command\keyboard.sys" in autoexec.bat. Assuming you're running Windows 9x and have a UK keyboard layout. If not, you should be able to modify that to sort it.

Wow - it's a looong time since I messed around with config.syses and autoexec.bats, if only finding and modifying programs run on boot were as simple nowadays...
