Cricket!?

being brought up in an industrial town in the west of scotland kinda rules cricket out of everyday life altogether. It's football, bowls or rugby ("for the poofs") in these parts.

So today, bored out of my fucking shell, I decided to switch over to channel 4 and see what all the fuss is about.

And I watched it all day. now i'm on the verge of getting hooked.

when Strauss hit that centuary it was the most exciting moment of my day. I near shit myself that such a boring piece of middle-english nonsense was attracting my attention.

will probably tune in tommorow as well... :nana:

it's not my cup of tea i'm afraid. all i see it as is another sport for me to watch england lose at so i'm keepin my sports limited to football (because i like it) and curling (because we won at the last olympics)

i think the cricket is class and also is the most watchable thing on tv in the morning.

i prefer rugby, but lately england have been doin crap and its not as much fun when that is happening.

Cricket for me is a lot more fun to play than to watch. Going to a test every second weekend when i was lttle made me rather bored of it, but i have recently got hooked again. I find it interesting watching the battle between bowler and batter.
I suggest you go out and play a game.
