I saw that film about a year before everybody suddenly started talking about it, how great is was, how nobody got; even that dude from "mad world" got famous with his shitty clip.

Along with the Matrix and the Lotr, this movie is currently on my "good movies that are ruined for me by other people, so I hate them now" list.

It doesn't stop great movies being great does it? I don't say Hard Boiled is poor because Woo's later stuff is cack. Hype and stuff for good films is predicable, you might as well just turn off.
