'Bright colours' challenge

Yes i'm back again with the photo challenges :) As with the old challenges the same rules apply, and for those new to this please read the rules thread -before- entering...

Obviously this time round there are no rupies and therefore no prize as such, merely the pleasure of winning the challenge and having your name and photo in the challenge winners thread ;)

So 'bright colours' is the theme this week, which you can interpret as you like.. The challenge will go on for 1 week and then voting commence at the end of it :)

Well seen as no one has entered yet, i'll put mine here...

One I took with my macro lens and ring flash. The camera was sat on my bed covers which are very brightly coloured and these reflected in the metal on the camera, as well as being in the background too..

So not to make these threads dead or anything, I will post my entry tomorrow, when I can be bothered to find anything attractive and pretty and colourful enough to photograph.
I don't want to see hocas die, everyone should post their entries, wether they be crap or not to keep this place alive.

the story behind this pic is that me and my band were having a hard time writing songs , so we put up christmas lights all around my basement to inspire us. Afterwards we discovered that it was really just distracting us.

edit: hmmm, the orange hasn't come out as bright as I'd hope, guess I need to increase the aperture or some such shiznitch...

First time I've entered this contest, or any other photography contests for that matter. Took this in a hurry, "borrowed" my sisters digital camera while she was out. There is a surprising lack of brightly coloured objects in my house....
