I just had an idea. Not a particularly good idea, but I'll see what you guys think.
Obviously in CS there are those who play all day, every day, and usually get called cheaters. One day we might have to face these "elite" players.
I understand that most if not all of us in this clan have pretty busy lives and don't get round to CS that much-So I thought, why not have training sessions?
Have maybe 6 people, 3 per side, and instead of everyone rushing out and shooting everything that moves talk to each other and try and set up scenarios. The more experienced users could help the beginners.
For example, start by one user showing everyone else the map. I guess voice mod would help a lot here.
Then, go to a main "meet" spot where the CTs and Ts usually have a large firefight-take a look round all the spots-then everyone gets in position and progresses from there.
Maybe every round someone participates as a dummy, who the others have to aim at.
That sort of basic practice that will eventually train up everyone while still being pretty fun.
Any ideas?
(also, if like me you play only occasionally and therefore your skill level goes up and down, check out http://www.counterstriketraining.com/ . It's a brilliant site with loads of tips and maps etc. Very nice)
