Yes. I'm a crazy asshole. But I'm doing this thread anyway. Following the sacking of Sir Bobby Robson by the Barcodes, this sparks up some interesting speculation: Will Robson take over from Eriksson? I wouldn't mind, I think Robson's a good manager, but I don't really mind. What are your views?

I think that Sir Bobby should take over as manager again. He is an English legend. PLus I don't like Sven.

Well I don't like Sven either. That's probably why I created this thread. By the way nice avatar Streety.

I think Bobby should just retire. Either that or take over at Southampton untill the end of the season. And as for Eriksson. He should go, but in all seriousness. If Robson is the most eligible manager to take over, then England is in trouble!

No way should Bobby Robson get the England job. I'm not sure about Sven, but i'm not gonna be calling for his head (just yet ;)). If England did need a new manager it should be a young English manager, Steve Bruce, Iain dowie, Micky Adams, Alan Curbishley, Steve McClaren.. Personally i hope one of them gets the Newcastle job (i think it should be Dowie) so they get experience at a biigger club and maybe Europe as I wouldn't want somone that doesn't have this experience in charge of England.

Even though earlier I said that I wouldn't mind Bobby taking over again, I think that there are better people for the job. You should never go back to a club to manage again. It is never the same and the respect that you had before could be lost.
Rudi Voller would be a great English manager :D

i think sven hasn't done a bad job-he has had a couple of hard hits in the past but these things happen to all managers-in my mind the reason people are thinking of replacing sven is because of the stupid british press which preys on any mistake the current england manager makes. In my mind we should keep him as manager until the world cup then no matter the result let him leave and give someone else a chance(even if he does win the world cup it would be time for him to move on)
about mr robson he had his chance and i think there are other decent managers out there who could do a better job and the only reason for employing him would be to boost the popularity of the FA. furthermore i don't think he is competent enough for international footy any more-the game has moved on since when he was at his peak and i think robson would be just as liable to make as much mistakes as sven has made (eg poor team selection-ie leaving shearer out the squad when he was (well at least as far as i know)playing well)----i could be talking bull and if i am please correct me
