Right, so I recently acquired Reason 2.0, and have launched myself into trying to learn how the fuck to use it. IE I can't. I'm crap, I really need to learn how to use it, so to help me in this enterprise, I thought I would make a little cover album.

I also figured that this is a good idea because I could show off my MC'ing skills, and maybe make a small amount of money from it (not a lot, just a little something towards buying a Numarck deck or two, If I'm lucky) So I thought I could make this and sell it to people for a fiver odd, and yeah.

Now my question is what songs should I cover? So far I have a shortlist that looks like this:

Sage Francis - Hey Bobby
Alias - Watching Water
Sole - Respect pt 3
Aesop Rock - 9 to 5'ers anthem (?)
Deep Puddle Dynamics - The Scarecrow Speaks
Taskforce - Arrest the President
Themselves - Good People Check
Alias - Divine Dissapointment
Sage Francis - Inherited Scars

So that's about all I had. So if there's anything you think I should do (preferrbly with fairly easy to mimic production), or any of those you would particularly like to here me do, do tell :) BaaBaa Out!

PS This is gonna take a long time, so if for some weirdo reason you actually wanna hear this, don't hold your breath

Um, no offence, but isn't charging a little optimistic?

Are you planning on doing gigs and selling the CDs after? I mean, thats the only way you're realistically gonna be able to charge for this stuff. And even then , you'd best be good. You certainly need some sort of way of advertising, where people can actually hear your stuff.

Just a thought.

I know it's optimistic, but I'm not thinking of charging much. Namely just to recoup expenses and make the odd pound. I was gonna Put MP3s on a website or something. Obviously if I got nothing it'd go down to free, I do have some Business Acumen :P

It's more for the benefit of my skill than my wallet :) Now gimme suggestions bitch :P

DJ Format - Ill Culinary Behaviour
I reckon you should be able to pull it off, and then have a go at recording this track...
