Thought this was appropriate, as it's betting on sports! :)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sportdaq

You sign up, and get £10,000 worth of 'shares'. You can buy shares in various sports personalities, and according to their successes, failures, and media coverage, the value of their shares will go up or down accordingly. Basically, the idea is to make as much cash as possible! I signed up last night and am currently ranked 23,885th with £9847 in shares. Give it a go, it's actually quite addictive!

I find it helps to keep one eye on the BBC Sport (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport) pages and buy up shares in anyone who makes it into the headlines. Example: when the Ryder Cup started, I bought shares in Tiger Woods, Colin Montgomerie and Bernhard Langher. Their values have now shot up. :)

Also got some on Jacques Villeneuve, who's announced he's coming back to F1, and Barrichello, whose value has been creeping up slowly for a while now.

Cool, so far I've got Tiger Woods, Kevin Keegan and Montgomerie.
I also have Rio Ferdinand, and I have found something a bit scary about him. 500 shares in him costs £666.60 8|
edit: I can make a league for us if you like.

A league sounds fun, fair enough :)

Selling half my shares in Villeneuve and putting them into Montgomerie, as I can see him rising for the rest of the Ryder Cup.

*hopelessly addicted already*

I did the celebdaq version of this. Once you get so much money they take it away from you and replace it with a shitty icon. After all taht hard work you are then back to square one.

It appears to have buggered. They are now apparently 'updating their services'. So now I can't have gochrisgo anymore :(
