Nah who knows for sure but what's your meaning of life?!

What's your objective? Your aspirations in life

Mine would have to be...

Enjoy your life without making others a misery!

Post them here... and discuss

I think that every body has a different meening of life and how they see the meening of life. I see it as an aim that is always open and mine is to get through to the next day
Did you know that you two are the only ever people to I've seen to give anouther answer apart from 42 (I was tempeted)

from 42 (I was tempeted)

You were asking for that.

I think that the meaning of life is to choose a lifestyle that makes you happy (wheather you live as a rockstar, hobo, or barkeep), and then go and live that way.

Do you understand what I'm saying? As long as you're happy, the meaning of life is more or less irrelevent.

And while we're talking about it, the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is one of the funniest, serious, random, and generally good books I have read ever

I guess it would be that when I'm on my death bed I can look back and say, "Wow, I lived a good life, I loved and was loved, and I'm grateful for every minute of it."

I don't care if I leave a legacy or not, just having an impact on someone's life would be enough for me.

heh, this reminds me of a thread a long long time ago on the old old boards in the first confessional.. *reminisces*

Biologically, I guess it would be to have kids and keep the human race going.
Physically, to help end things like pollution, poverty etc.
Emotionally, to be happy, to have a lifestyle that suits you and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. There's a quote from a pro rollerblader that I spoke to-not a good quote, nothing dynamic or lifechanging, but one I remember-"You shouldn't feel any pressure when you're skating. If you feel you don't want to do something because of the pressure, you're with the wrong crowd".
I've been in that situation and know what it's like-and it's just something that made me think yeah, this guy knows what life's about. He's happy.

If Monty Python couldn't deduce the meaning of life, than noone can.

42...anwser to life, the universe, and everything....trouble is, we dont accurately know the question. but the anwser is definately 42.
(sorry but i just couldnt resist)

other than that I would say the meaning of life is to just live and try to find contentment....

anyone considered that maybe there is no meaning to life. That maybe we are just here as a result of probability and random chance. Call me a cynic............

I think the meaning of life is to lie on your deathbed and say "yeah, I lived a good life..."

Obviously there will be regrets, but who's to say that when you know you're going to die, you'd care?

So yeah...meaning of life is to be able to die in the knowledge you lived.

Fear my confusingness!

Edit/ I just realised how similar mine is to Cheeky's, but in my defence, I said this before; ask Pixel.

trouble is, we dont accurately know the question.
We do know the question. It's "What do you get when you multiply 9 by 6?"

54!

The real meaning of life is... waking up every morning?

Actually, it's like an undefined term in geometry.

The meaning of life is what you make of it. Screw everything else, its what YOU it is.
Not Bob's opinion, not your mother's, YOURS.

But, in the literal sense, the meaning of life is breath, eat, screw, and then die.

I agree with the above statement mostly^

But then again I don't even understand the question. Why should there be a meaning to life? Does it have to mean something? Is life not just matter infused with energy?

The theory I personally favour: Life is just one large galactic-sized willy, divided into bitesize chunks.

Oh fine, so I just made it up. So what? It's still perfectly viable.

I think that around 80% of posters should get a dictionary, and look up the word "life".
That would then tell them the meaning of life.
Then, they should keep the dictionary, and use it to look up words they type on here.
Assuming,of course, that the dictionary has no typo's in it.....
Anyway.
That's definitely what I think......

Life is to reproduce and keep your genes alive.
