I was up in Glasgow the other week and I saw an Indian restaurant called "Indian Place",I thought it was probably just a joke, but then a few weeks later,an indian take-away opened in my town called "Best kebab and pizza 2".
This got me thinking, what's the most unoriginal name for a shop/take-away/etc. ever.
So,has anyone seen a less original name,or is there just an abundance of uncreative shop-owners in my area :p ?

In Turkey in a little city called Ichmeluer (Itch-ma-leer) there is a chip shop called "The Chippy" underneath the board it said open all day and nigth. How funny it is to laugh at people who can't spell. By the way it was very english there if you know what i mean.

In a town where I used to live, there was a fish place that started to sell pizza also, so it was renamed the "Pizza Wharf". The name (and the thought of that combination) totally put me off.

On holiday in Spain I saw a lot of places called 'Irish Pub', most of which were painted green. I laughed every time I saw one.

Yes there's also a Computer Shop in Milton Keynes city centre. Despite the name its a pretty cool shop :D

I once saw a place in Crawley called "the Money Shop  "

"GAME" also has an exceptionally imaginative name as well, must have taken hours to think that one up...

At the other end of the originality scale there is a vegitarian restaurant in Brighton called Wai Kika Moo Cau (pronouced why kick a moo cow)

There is a beverage center in my town lovingly called "The beverage center", which sells mostly beer. Down the road there's "The liquor store", which is stacked front to back and floor to ceiling with liquor. Come to think of it if you continue up the road not even 100 meters there's "Last Chance Saloon", and then a few stores down there's "Murray's Pup." Those names aren't unoriginal, but it says something about my town.

As far as place names go, I got annoyed a little while ago at every town having a 'Hilton' area, but I 'spose they have a right to do that. I also know a wee village called Hilton. As in "Hill Town" I'm supposing. Genius.

In a town down the road from me there is a coffee shop called "the coffee shop". Wow. And another one, called "the River", because it's between two banks (I thought that one was quite clever however). Glasgow has some wonderfully uninspiring names, such as "the Art Store" and I've seen a couple of "corner shop"s and "newsagent's" in there too.
