In true High Fidelity style, what is your all-time 10 track mix tape? You cannot have more than one song from any one artist but every kind of artist is allowed. The making of a great mix tape is letting the songs flow and changing the tempo. The great thing about this is that every list will be different.
My provisional list would be:
1) 'Super Duper Love' by Joss Stone
2) 'Scattered' by Green Day
3) 'San Dimas High School Football Rules' by The Ataris
4) 'Just A Phase' by Incubus
5) 'The Masterplan' by Oasis
6) 'Hear You Me' by Jimmy Eat World
7) 'Something To Talk About' by Badly Drawn Boy
8) 'Lust For Life' by Iggy Pop
9) 'American Woman' by Lenny Kravitz
10) 'Song 2' by Blur
I reckon that would be it. Pretty good list if you ask me

Mr Mouse of Danger - To stop pab getting filled with threads which dissapear sharpish, the forums have been split into certain categories, Music being one of them.
Have no fear though, I'm sure a mod will move it over soonish. Nice list though. I'm currently going through a music block at the moment and couldn't put a top 10 together, maybe I'm listening to Radio 1 too much!

It's weird.
My top ten favourite songs are not the kind of songs which I would put on a mixtape. My mixtapes almost always are about creating a particular mood - usually happy driving. As such, my all time favourite songs probably wouldn't make the cut for a mixtape. The list also changes depending on my mood so here is the right here, right now version, in no particular order:
The Polyphonic Spree - Light and Day
Queen - The Show Must Go On
Guns and Roses - Sweet Child of Mine
Peter Gabriel - Solsbury Hill
Eric Clapton - Lonely Stranger
Dire Straits - Your Favourite Trick
Foo Fighters - Learn to Fly
REM - Everybody Hurts
Stereophonics - Handbags and Gladrags
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama
Most of these have a personal meaning attached to them for why I love them so much. I can't really rate one above the other :S

Mine consists of:
1) Comfortably Numb - Scissor Sisters
2) Darts Of Pleasure - Franz Ferdinand
3) Stockholm Syndrome - Muse
4) Little Thoughts - Bloc Party
5) Buck Rogers - Feeder
6) Shopping For Blood - Franz Ferdinand
7) Hate To Say I Told You So - The Hives
8) This Charming Man - The Smiths
9) Just A Day - Feeder
10) Where Is My Mind? - Pixies
Even though I've got nine of those songs on separate CDs, I like having them all in one place. Each song reminds me of something, i.e Where Is My Mind? the song Pixies opened with at V2004, and I was there, and it was amazing, and 'Buck Rogers' is the song we all sing at school. With 'player-player-player-player' accompanied by head thrashing, which I was voted best at on account of my marvellous hair.

Yeah I knew that, but I figured most people wouldn't know what I was talking about if I said Baba o'Reilly.
That song strangely captivates me, I have no idea why.
