I just rediscovered an old tape my Dad has and want to spread the word. I've been listening to it on repeat constantly for like the last week. Searched around for a CD, but the closest I got was a rather poor version with most of the tracks changed. But it had the same pic on :):

... Track listing of the original:

Side one:
Toto - Hold the line
Rainbow - Since you been gone
Jefferson Starship - Jane
Journey - Don't stop believin'
Survivor - Eye of the tiger
Blue Oyster Cult - (Don't fear) the reaper
Status Quo - Rockin' all over the world
Rush - The spirit of radio
John Parr - St. Elmo's fire (man in motion)
Meatloaf - Modern girl

Side two:
Starship - Nothin's gonna stop us now
John Farnham - You're the voice
Bonnie Tyler - Holding out for a hero
Bachman Turner Overdrive - You ain't seen nothing yet
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Gary Moore - Parisienne Walkways
Steppenwolf - Born to be wild
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird

Timeless classics the lot of them. Old rock all round. I really would recommend this to pretty much anyone who likes any of these songs / bands. Better; anyone who's even heard of any of them. In fact, everyone, just go out and buy it. This really does rule.

If there's another CD with the original tracks, please tell me... I will pay for it with blood if necessary.

just check any record shop.

probably not the same compilation, as those do not tend to last long, but you'll bound to find some cds similar to this, cheap.
