I've tried the DooM 3 alpha, and it looks promising even though it was an alpha.

Please PLEASE! Tell me you guys know all about ZDoom...

I'm going to assume you do and tell you about it anyway.

Its a modification of the existing doom engine, that takes all of the levels, and well to keep it simple, adds handy things like, Mouse Support so no more aiming with the keyboard, crosshairs, jumping, etc. There is also JDoom which supports 3d polygons and dynamic lighting. Same Doom, more features, user created. There is also a program you can download that will connect you to a server where there are other ZDoom and JDoom players where you can chat then connect to play some hardcore online fragging. If you guys haven't tried it, let me know, I'll throw some links out here, I don't have them here, on this college computer, but I can get them once I'm home.

Did anyone get the Doom3 alpha that got leaked a while back ??

Its was a tad hard on the graphics card, but that looked quite good! Personally I think Quake 3 missed the mark. Quake 4 has some promise, but I think Doom3 will be THE FPS game to play when its out...
