I would probably play if im about, im not going to be all that good, seeing as I have only played the original cs once in my life, and I ended up pratting about with the riot shield all and I mean all the time, got quite good with it if I remember correctly, well untill everyone got me in a corner and threw about 6 nades at me, then I died.

Allllrighty then! I've got Steam, I've sorted HL out, I've downloaded Counter-Strike, and I'm soooo ready to...







... not play yet. Balls.

I had the same trouble with Quake 3 - it gets to a complex map and the system hangs on "Precaching resources". I'm 99.99999% sure it's to do with a dodgy RAM stick I've got in me 'puter.

So, rather than do the normal thing and remove the offending component, I've gone and spashed out on a new CPU/RAM/motherboard combo (with nuxx's help which I'm ever so grateful for), and that's scheduled for delivery on tuesday. After all the faffing about with reformatting, reinstalling everything, and generally getting everything back up to speed, I should be available from wednesday evening for games. You've probably seen me lurking around #weebl.cs anyway :)

I would put my name forward for a bit of clan action, but as some of you may know - I'm waiting for my call up letter for the air force, so it'd be daft for me to say yes. Either way, if you're going to get a game together, I'll be more than happy to join you.

Im usually about, except on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, but im not liable to be about for a bit, windows has recently tried to assasinate my hard drive, most of its still ok, but most files over around year old has been corrupted, but the disk itself seems fine.

Bit worn out from a game where half of my team were singing medleys, tking each other (in a funny way) and one guy who repeated everything (fire in the hole, fire in the hole, fire in the hole, ow, ow, ow, ow, need backup, need backup, need backup, i like bumse...hey wait (that part may have been my intervention)) Funny as hell, and I've pulled some muscles round my stomach so it hurt like hell too XD

Edit: Oh and I play every night basically, but only for an hour or so, so I'll either play straight after school or later at night depending on what I'm doing)
