Does anybody else remember The Moomins? I remember watching them whenever they were on, they were so cool. Like hippos, only cooler.

They scared the hell out of me...

However I am talking about the original claymation series in the early 80's so thats a bit before your time methinks

I used to watch that show but now they are just plain scary to me. I used to like the wierd kangaroo type thing.

Has to be said, it was one of the trippiest things ever. They spoke really strangely too.

They love the laughter and they love the living the MOOMINS!

Loved that show, though they were bizarre little things. :)

I watched it out of boredom....
I would give it a 7/10.

I remember the one where their stage thing broke and they were stranded in the river...?
What was the place were they lived?
Moomin-valley or something?

I've actually read the books.

the exploits of moominpappa is great cause of the details on hattifatner lifestyle but fin family moomintroll rocks because the hobgoblin has a great hat and serious skillz.

I remember them.

They were on at a certain point on Saturday mornings, when I was sort of half-awake and not sure if I was hallucinating or not.

They gave me nightmares. :(

The moomins were cool, it's just some of the other characters in it were scary!!!
Does anyone remember the episode with those weird ghost things? I can still see them swaying....they were the scariest things ever! No horror film could scare a child like me like those flippin ghosts!

I was so terrified of the Moomins. However it was the sort of terror that is enjoyable.. and thus I watched them a lot. Looking at that picture still gives me the creeps.
