it seems we're all newbies again. i think that's a damn fine thing. i for one got really bored of post count one-upmanship.

so it seems we'll all have to be nice to each other and not call anyone a n00b. this could be difficult, but i'll try my best.

yeah PHP/v bulliten and all simmilar boards Mod privelages are great. Mods can Edit/Delete your posts. Admin can set a max number for you to post a day as well

I have seen where to turn this feature off, and have it set to 'No' in my CP, but I am still receiving these notices, and I have never checked the box when posting that says 'email me when someone replies to this thread'...

Ah ha! I found out what it was. Subscribing to threads emails you that a new reply has been posted in the thread.

I wish there was a way I could turn that off so that I could subscribe and see which of my subscribed thread have new material without having to receive the emails about it. Spammy.
