Whats the most optimistic music you know?
For me its- Alkaline Trio-I'm dying tommorow!

Optimistic? Ram in something by Lemon Jelly. About as happy 'everything's A-ok!' music as it's possible to hear. 'His Magesty King Raam' will do nicely.




And in case this thread is steeped in piquant sarcasm and left to marinade for 24 hours in a dish of cool irony, I often find Bonnie Prince Billy's 'Death to Everyone' fits the bill.

how about the polyphonic spree? you cant get much more optimistic than that.

oooh polyphonic spree. i love them... shoot... did top 10 artist list on the other thread and forgot them, meh...

optomistic music wud have to be polyphonic spree yes, but cerys matthew's new album has sum happy happy stuff on... such as...
Ocean... favourite song of the moment me thinks:p

Killswitch Engage has their moments. They lyrics are excellent. They at least are like for love and against racism and that kinda stuff. They seem to see the downfall of society, but sing about overcoming it.

Hey, I like That song. I also think Polyphonic spree is ultimate cheer up music. Also some Turin Brakes. Ocean colour scene are good for that too. And a few others....
