OS X is pretty handy (NO FLAME PLEASE), but something i've felt that has been missing from it's windows couterpart is a little drawing program like paint to keep on my task bar.
i know apple works has some junk but i don't like it, i do have flash but it's too heavy weight, i just want a little thing for copy and paste edits.
if anyone has one please post here.
conditions: it has to be freeware, has to be stable, has to have copy and paste and basic drawing funtions
preferred: multiple formats. jpeg.. tiff etc..
i have photoshop and graphic editor. they're not good for what i want.
thanks in advance.

Why on earth would you want something like paint? It's shite, ESPECIALLY for copy + paste edits.
Try GIMP. It's like photoshop, but with a simpler interface.

What is the exact model name?
Most things that say "plug and play" rely on windows executables.

USM32U2, yeah i know. but something as generic as a usb pen drive i'd expect mac and sony to be on top of this

Sony? When were they ever interested in interoperability?

Sites reckon it is compatible with MacOS
I know nothing about MacOSX other than that it is based on UNIX, in which case I'm guessing you'll have to find and mount the drive somehow.

erm. when sony announced it.
apple's main campaign before the iPod was a 'plug 'n' play alternative' to windows.. a computer that would just work.
and sony were joining together to work together with mobile phones. and much more because their companys have similar principles, style, simplicity, functionality.
they're also both on the blu-ray disc association.
the usb pen drive should work.

yeah i checked there too. cheers anyway, i'll try formatting it from a windows machine. i think it could have a security feature on it that mac doesn't understand
