Yesterday started out as any normal day would, I set my alarm clock for 7:00 AM, and keep reseting it for 10 more minutes. Eventually, I woke up. It was around 7:45, and class starts at 8:45. I threw on some clothes, and rushed out the door to the bus stop. The bus is actually on time for once, so I figured that I would be on time, possibly early, for once.

I was wrong.

After getting off that bus, I go to another bus stop to catch the transfer-bus to my school. I get on the bus, and wait for this moron to start driving. 10 minutes pass, and everyone is yelling and cursing at this fuckwad of a bus driver for just sitting there, without reason. 20 minutes pass. People start shouting obscenities louder than they were before, so I decided to join in.

30 minutes pass. By this time, I'm way past late, I've missed half of my first hour class. The spack finally starts moving the bus. There's a person at the next stop, so he stops and picks them up.

10 minutes pass by at that bus stop. By this time, people have started shouting obscenities, and throwing things at this twunt. He starts driving again. By this time, I'm very upset. Eventually, the bus makes it to the school. I'm so pissed at that fuck for making me late, that I muster up the biggest, nastiest, snot ball from my throat that I possibly can. All the other students get off the bus, and I'm the last one off. But I don't quite get off all the way. I get right next to the front door, turn around, and unleash the fury of my mighty snot-ball.

The crowd starts cheering for me, having make an idiot of the bus driver that made us all late.

But that's not the end of the story.

Today, the same driver happens to be driving the same bus, at the same time. He happens to recognize me, and doesn't let me on the bus, making me late AGAIN.

I restrained from getting on the bus anyways, and planting my fist into his face. I was tempted, though.

Anyways, that's my story. Tommorrow is round three of my rage against the bus driver. Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion!

maybe it wasn't the best idea to spit at him, especially since he'll probably be their tomorrow. find out his name and write to the bus company

the most annoying thing i've had is that some days the drivers used to change in the centre of bristol. often another driver wouldn't turn up for 1/2 and hour so we were left with no driver stuck on the bus

I think we need to make a proper stand for public transport. It's a disgrace, and the reason it's a disgrace is that people don't make a stand.

Obviously this applies in both England and your part of America.

I'm making a stand.

I'm calling the bus station after I get home today, to inform them that their bus drivers made me miss an important hour of education, twice!

Dude

Why are you so upset about missing school???

Today, I got on the bus.

I got to the next stop before the bus driver came back to talk to me.

"You're a guy, aren't you?"
"...yes."
"Get off my bus, I don't need troublemakers."
"I've payed."
"I don't care"
"What's your name?"
"Mr. Fuckoffmybus"

Cue complaints of witnesses

Cue angry bus driver.

Cue reluctant return to cab.

Well no one Scottish had made a statement about their transport, so I wasn't in a position to say. :p

People at my school are encouraging me to throw some paint bombs at him.

I'm going to take that advice. *Goes and makes some paint bombs*

What's worse than real bus drivers?

"Train replacement" bus drivers.

Seriously, they employ ex-bus drivers straight from mental homes.

I had one on the way back from Birmingham singing a little tune, missing out half the stations (luckily he stopped at mine or I'd have been pretty fucked!), he went round a roundabout about 4 times, went up a one way street then reversed back down it...Seriously, it was more like a theme park ride than a journey home!

zero defex.

heh... anyone here get Arriva transport?

God bless Arriva.

*gets up to get off school bus a stop early, it's healthy, see?*
Irish Bus Driver: What do you want? You wanna go play in the fields or summad?
Me: ...Yeah alright then.
*Bus Driver picks up speed*

Few Days Later...

I see the same bus driver, so I get out my bus pass and deliberately crumple it up and make it look like a pile of tatters...

*Bus Driver snatches ticket*

Bus Driver: This ticket is like you... it's a wreck and a disgrace. Sort yourself out

Me: Whatever...

*Bus pulls into my stop*

Me: Fuck you, you fuck scumbag shithead cock munching choad licking smeg sack.

Oh... he wasn't too pleased. In fact, he followed me in his bus...

Oooh Yeah

as someone who likes to look after the environment i would say public transport is great value. however yeah some bus drivers are right twats sometimes, especially as a student.
every time i get on the bus i show the driver clearly, they check mine. but anyone over 25 with a pass they wont even look at it properly, they'll just nod.
i find that quite tedious.

however in life you have to learn to bite your tongue.. and let it pass, because people like that do you big favours, and you should look after the people like that, i am a cleaner, and i clean the english teachers rooms really thoroughly because they do me favours like asking the students to tuck in chairs.. it sounds like a little thing but it takes me 5 minutes to do stuff like that when they've been thrown around the class.

the phrase you scratch my back i'll scratch yours springs to mind (for the second time this week on the forum..)

don't go spitting at people dude. get his name and get him reported, chances are there are more bus driver applicants than places.. he'll get a firm warning if that's the case and if it happens again he'll get further action.
good luck tomorow but to be honest with you.. i don't blame him if he doesn't let you on his bus, they have to clean them up themselves.

by the way it's an offence to spit at someone, on the trains it happens a lot to the attendants who hang out the windows, they get DNA sampling sets and they will take the highest possible degree of criminal action.

first transport are the real bastards, they're extremely expensive and class a 12 year old as an adult commuter. and they're bastards about student fairs as well.. aparently you need to pay £90 where i live to qualify for a student fair all the time.

public transports the way to go, but not greedy private public transport, there's no heart there. i use first as little as possible.

These people have to drive all day, don't you think you should give them a break? I mean, if some kid done something to deliberatly piss me off, I would want to kill him too after having to drive around in circles all day.

I hate buses simply because I flew out the back of one and spent a month dragging myself along with crutches because when the bus catches fire, the safest thing we can do is CHUCK OURSELVES THROUGH THE AIR! >:[

And the point of that was...?

Anyways, buses, my good friends, how I delight in seeing angry bus drivers stop the buses at stops for ages because the scally at the back seat decides it's a great thing to keep pressing the stop button.

This was not the school bus, but it stops by our school, mainly for public, and since it has public on it, hardly any scallies from our school get on it. Which means,
-No yelling stuff at 'dirty moshers'
-No 'true Christians go BNP'
-You can chat about things apart from new shell suits and the next rugby session.

Anyway, I have noes idea on why some bus drivers don't let some on the bus for no reason, and the people who take buses round here generally suck =/

*Ooh Sparklies*

The buses around here arn't too bad. They are generally on time and the drivers are nice.

Park and Ride bus drivers on the other hand suck ass! They drive off when they see you heading to the bus, once my bf and I got tot he doors and he drove off!

My bf has told me countless times that he gets on the bus and he sits there for ages making him late for work sometimes. The buses are suposed to be every ten mins and he sits there for over that with now sign of another bus???

Stupid park and ride!

I have had many similar experiences before, including one time when the bus driver, knowing that noone is going to get on(it was on the way home) actually waited for a half an hour at two stops just to make sure he was on time... which he wasnt, he was an hour late.
Another one smelled all the chavs smoking at the back and stoped the bus in the middle of a hill and got out of his seat and shouted: 'ALRIGHT, WHICH LITTLE BUGGER HAS LET OFF A CHERRY BOMB?' we were all stunned, there are no cherry bombs in enland, when know one answered he shouted: 'THE WHHERE GOING BACK TO SCHOOL UNLESS SOMEONE OWNS UP'
At this point i took it upon my self to say, no one let off a cherry bomb, and he said: 'SHUT THE FUCK UP, AND ALL YOU CAN SIT THE FUCK DOWN!' and then he turned around to head back to school at which point the whole bus (being prepard for this) got off (someone pressed the emergency door open button) and we all walked home.
There are more but i cant be arsed to tell them now.

Round 3 of Meatwad VS. The Angry Bus Driver.

Well, today was a big disappointment. I had my paint bombs all ready, and I was anxiously awaiting the spack to pull up to the stop. As the bus pulled up, I pulled a paint bomb out of my jacket... The doors open, I pull my arm back and get ready to launch...

Me: "Hey, you're not the usual guy! Where's the other driver?"
Driver guy: "He decided to take the day off today, said some kid made him too stressed, and he needed a day off.... That wasn't you, was it?"
Me: "......No."

So, my home-made paint bombs are just sitting here waiting to be tossed at that bus driver on Monday, if he comes back. The other people who sit at the bus stop were awaiting the bus, to see me throw paint bombs at him.

I'm very disappointed today, so I'm gonna go eat some lunch.

Tune in next Monday for the next episode of Meatwad VS. The Angry Bus Driver, only on Fox!

There was the one bus driver who drove up to the bus stop and waited 10 minutes before letting anyone on the bus, bear in mind that the temperature was below zero at the time, and the bus driver waited 5 minutes at every single bus stop after that. Damn bus drivers.

A bus I was on, there were chavs smoking and the bus driver stopped the bus in the middle of the road, came upstairs and threw them off :D - ah, wait, this is a thread about how evil buses are...

*thinks*

The bus came ten mins late once? Ooh, and once, the driver stopped at this one stop for about 10 mins for no reason! *ahem* yeh, the buses where I live are nice...

It's the trains I hate - the number of times I've waited literally hours for a train, bcause the stupid info box refuses to tell you that the train has been cancelled until 10mins after it's due. And the prices are ridiculous. *beats trains and their drivers with sticks*

heh.

our trains are never later than 10 minutes and you always get notified when they're cancelled :p yay southern.

if you have a young person's railcard the prices are a lot more bearable but unless you use trains quite a bit there isn't a point in having one.

Magpie <3's trains.

I was on a bus once (the 337, to Richmond :p ), and the bus driver suddenly stopped at a bus stop, told everyone to get off, claiming that there was another bus just behind us, and drove off.

I had to wait 10 minutes in below freezing temperatures :nana:
