We’re all waiting for VAC2 to do it’s stuff on STEAM, we’re all waiting for the games forums to fill up with, “oooh Noos, I’ve been banned by VAC2” But in the meantime we’re all being frustrated and fed up with cheats.
So here’s how to have a bit of fun with the well held belief that Vac2 is secretly out on all servers and gathering stats on cheats.
You see a cheat, you know he’s a cheat but there’s no admin around. You could just leave but up until now you’ve been having a good time and everyone else on the server seems fun, genuine players. So..instead of simply saying, “CHEAT – LEAVE NOW!” Say something like, “According to the VAC2 stats on the server, [name of cheater] is cheating!”
This usually causes the cheater to say BS or something like that and the other players start saying, “Really? How do you know?” It helps if you can work out what cheat he is using because then you say, “Yeah, I have access to the server and Vac2 has flagged him up as a possible wall hack violation. I’m not sure exactly which one as this is all new to me!”
The cheater starts to panic a bit then and either turns the cheat off or leaves and the game carries on as normal. It's hilarious! I’ve done this 5 times this week and it worked 4 times. The guy it failed to work on just said, “I’m 23…I’m not some stupid kid” and carried on.
So no, it certainly isn’t fool proof but it does work and is great fun!
