SOme opinions about why you like him might be good? maybe a description of his music for those who haven't heard of him. When making a thread, you should think about what you write, and a thread opener should never be just one line.

I like him because I find the lyrics he writes into songs to be absolutely hilarious, and clever at the same time. I also love his genius sense of Irony.

I like Weird Al. Ever since I heard Omish Paradise when I was in like 7th grade, I've always enjoyed hearing his songs every now and then. Though it annoys my dad when I sing "My, my this here Anakin guy..." when "American Pie" is on.

I absolutely love his polkas.

He's lost his appeal to me, he was funny when I was 10. Now he's just not witty anymore.

Same here. I still kind of like him though because hes mentally unstable and all. Well, actually he probably isnt, but he has crazy hair anyways.

I think his moment of genius was his work in "UHF".

An absolute great (if unknown) film.

Genius.

Weird Al is the bees knees. Smells like Nirvana and Lika a Surgeon were excellent, as was Gump, Eat It and Fat, I got the DVD for Christmas. Never seen him in a movie though.

Sadly, I don't understand the songs on Poodle Hat, although I have the CD. I guess I'm just too out of it. Nevertheless, have a "Best of" CD, which are usually crap, but this I enjoyed. My favorite song on there is the one that goes "THere was this girl, who, wanted to be world champion" or whatever about Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding. Exceedingly clever. My problem is just that I dom't know many of the songs he spoofs. I love "Yoda", a parody of "Lola".

He is great.
The Hardware song is the best ever.
And it has magic salt and peper shakers with mother fucking jaculators. (parts of lyrics)

I love virtually every song he's ever made. I remember a few years back when I first introduced myself to a good friend, Napster, that was all I downloaded. I now have every song he has ever produced and every one is brilliant!

I'd say my favorites were Amish Paradise, Smells Like Nirvana, Pretty Fly For A Rabbi, Albuquerque, Saga Begins, It's All Bout The Pentiums, Angry White Boy Polka, and Hardware Store.

There's plenty more but the titles slip my mind.
Time to remind myself:rawk:

hmmm my favourite song? the polkas are all pretty good but I have to say that it's probably ode to a superhero, gump, bedrock athem or may be (this song is just) six words long. If you count what he is singing it is actually 7
