Ok, i know they dont go together, but i thought i'd save time by putting two subjects into one.

So firstly, state what you have broken (i e finger, skull etc)

And secondly, tell us what tattoo's you have, if you dont have any, do you want any? If you dont want any, Why not?

SO.

Ive broken my sternam (before i...ahem....grew) for anyone who doesnt know what that is, its the bone that runs down the middle of your chest, and it hurts alot when its broken. I fell off a swing while attempting something very stupid.

And i've got 3 tattoo's. I hate colour, they are all black,My first is a nice pattern i had on the back of my shoulder when i was sevent....eighteen sorry. i have a lizard on my ankle (because my name is Liz) and i just had another one on the bottom of my back in a similar pattern to the other:

See it here! (http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a93/wllsek01/Skiing095.jpg)

I'd love a tattoo, I want a Waning Moon (for obvious reasons - which you'll probably find out in 2006 in my signature), but I really want one, but I hate needles and I also hate pain :D Anyway, nice tat

I had my back surgically broken when I was in second year.

My spine was twisted and I had to get an operation, which involved my spine beng broken, a rib cut out then sliced up and put in between the broken spinal discs so it wouldn't twist any more.

And I have no tattoos but I really want one.

Never broken a bone. Woo. Got stitches on my chin once, but that's not so bad.

And I got a tattoo on Tuesday! It is my first (and most likely my last). It's posted here (http://www.weebls-stuff.com/forums/showpost.php?p=947877&postcount=308).

It actually didn't hurt as much as I'd expected, though the post tattooing maintainance is a little more than I'd expected. Still hurts, ouch.

(There's a Holes and Ink thread in the Hot Tub, btw.. but it hasn't been posted in in ages.)

no broken bones, Fate obviously loves me :) (I'm aware I'll probably now be hit by a car tommorow)

one tattoo
http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/1079/magtat225ro.jpg (one year this sunday)

mine didn't hurt probably due to size, location and shading. I actually found getting it done slightly arousing if that isn't TMI.

I think I fell off a bar stool when I was like 3 or something and broke my leg, which might be the excuse for this odd lump just above my knee. It's quite large.

When I was a toddler, I lived across the road from a big factory (the Austin) and there were many lorries driving up and down the road all day and all night. One cold, wintry day, I'd managed to make my way out of the front garden and towards the road - I think my Mom & Dad were out there talking to somebody, so I followed them. To make sure I didn't toddle into the road, my dad picked me up.

He then promptly slipped on some ice, landed on top of me and broke my collar bone.

It still aches in the cold weather, thirty-blah years later.

As for tattoos, I've been contemplating one for some time. On the outside of my shoulder, something celtic-looking but based on the three overlapping circles that John Bonham used to use as his symbol, particularly on the 'four symbols' album - possibly the symbol with a celtic or tribal pattern filling in the background. My arms are too pimply to tattoo, though, I reckon.

edit: Oh yes, I've also dislocated the ring finger on BOTH of my hands, the left one playing basketball (ball bounced of the end of the finger, leaving the finger pointing the wrong way), and the right one falling UP stairs in a pub and colliding with a chair in the bar. I wash Shtone COld ShoBer, too, Onnesht, hossifer... I was distracted by some laydeez walking in to the pub!

I actually found getting it done slightly arousing if that isn't TMI.

I've heard tales of people supposedly orgasiming whilst having a tattoo. I suspect this might be a lie, but still.

I haven't broken any bones - I reckon this might have something to do with the fact that I'm not really a big risk taker and am always very cautious about everything. Most damage I've ever done to myself was when I was climbing on wet rocks when I was staying in Devon years ago, slipped over and hit my head and started seeing double for a while.

As for tattoos, I have none. Ordinarily I hate needles - I think I might have some form of phobia, but if there was a tattoo that I really wanted, then I might be temtepd to put up with the needles, but I can't really think of anything I would want.

while jumping from swings is fun when seated, never try to jump of a swing while standing, the swing moves from under you and you face plant teh floor :(

no bones* or tattoos here, if i did have a tatoo it would be somthing simple and cool, like a black wrist band or somthing

*quite supprising really

I have broken my wrist, my finger and my knucle (not all at the same time). Wrist was worst, the bone proper snapped and I heard it. I was pushed over at school and fell back, put my arm down to break my fall and, snap! My finger was broken playing football, someone barged into me and I fell on my front crushing it (and I HATE football anyway). My knucle was my most recent, about three years ago, I punched a door at work in a fit of anger, stupid temper of mine.

I've got three tattoos, one on my upper left arm (tribal) one on my lower left leg (BIG Chinese dragon wrapped around tribal piece) and I had another one done two weeks ago going from my inner right upper arn and kind of spilling down onto my inner forearm (tribal again).

Thing is with tattoos is when you start with them, they're addictive.

i have broken all my toes i dont know how many times (i've been dancing since i was three) but i dont think that breaking toes really counts... so let just say no broken bones of any significance!

as for tattoos, yes, i have one. its an ankh on my lower stomach. i got it a couple years ago and have been dying to get another one... and now that i have a job i'll actually be able to afford it. yay! :)

When I was a 5 year old pleb I cracked my chin open by slipping when POWERDANCING to Right Said Fred

Later on in life I grew sensibilities and in a fit of rage kicked a wall and absolutely wrecked my middle toe bone

I broke other stuff too but they're less stupid LOLOL

PS I'd probably have a tattoo of Steve Buscemi on my arm so when I tense my huge biceps his eyes POP OUT and scare my enemies

I ran out in front of a car when I was two because I'm a hard mofo and all that. Broke my leg.

Since then I've only broken a toe when I kicked the fireplace surround by mistake when I was pissed.

I've never broken anything (despite being very active) but I have dislocated my right knee twice.

I don't have a tattoo, but I would like one. Maybe something small on my shoulder.

I have never broken a bone, but I've got tats, 7 thus far (kinda one's not done.)

There's 1. cartoon panda on a noose on my right shoulder blade 2. Fire coloured water splash with chineese (I think, maybe japaneese, it was 4 years ago okay?) symbol meaning crazy in it on my spine 3. Static-x symbol on my neck 4. blue flames wrapped around my right ankle 5. tattered pirate ship on left forearm 6. cartoon duck blowing it's brains out 7. work in process Starry night on my right leg (ankle to knee) behind my blue flames.

See, thats where all my money goes, that and hair dye.....and piercings.

O RLY?

^ o.O

I've broken my foot, by twsiting my ankle, this small bone on the side couldn't stand the pressure.
And I've broken my head two times, and my forehead's dented because when I was young, I was on top of my grandfather's car, and I tried to close the hood, it closed almost instantly sending my 4-year-old-self flying head-first to the concrete floor.

I don't have any tattoos but I'd like to have red/blue flames on my wrists.

Busted. At least ive not tried to do it since! Im not sure what it feels like to break an arm or a leg, but i was in hospital a while with that one, i couldnt breath without being in agony, and it still hurts to touch now.

I've never broken a bone, which is fucking amazing if you know some of the stupid things I've done/still do repeatedly. I do a lot of rockclimbing and parkour, and I've been climbing on other people's roofs since I was 8....
unless you count smashing all of your front teeth into paste as broken bones that is. balancing plywood on a wall and then jumping on it = not cunning plan.

I'm 14, so no tattoos, though I'd rather like something simliar to the album cover from pink floyd's division bell tattoed on my back, and possibly a watch tattoed onto my wrist, because looking like a fool is a major pastime for me.

I havent broken any bones or got a tattoo :D I'm not very interesting.

I want to get a small tribal band around my left arm and an oriental character on the inside of my right forearm. I might get a yin-yang somewhere, but I dont know where. The bottom of my back might look good, but it might look a bit girly.

I've broken my left wrist and left collar bone at the same time, my right little finger, and my front tooth, but that doesn't really count.

I broke my wrist and collar bone going head-first over handlebars when I was 13, and fell off a wall and broke my right little finger when I was 14. All in the space of a year.

Don't really want tattoos, but I can't anyway because I'm only 14.

I've never broken anything, ever.
I'm actually quite lucky, as I’ve never been to hospital (since i was born, obviously) for something related to me.

I have however cut my self (not the cry for help kind. The accidental kind) on several occasions and really should have gone to hospital.
I have the scars to prove it.
(best one is on my elbow, its all crinkly and cool :D)

I smashed my two front teeth out when I was 6 though.

my best scar ever is the 8 inch one running from my knee finishing near my ankle, i recall having to shave my legs for PE the next day, and i grabbed the nearest razor...my dads disposable bick, and i did it so fast, i couldnt stop myself intime after i knew the razor had turned sideways and ran it all the way down....blood everywhere!!!

later i told everyone in PE i had used a carving knife to shave my legs with - and they believed me! ten years later and i laugh every time i look at that scar!

When I was 2, my Mum threw dropped me down the stairs and broke my right leg.

When I was 6, I broke my left leg by falling over in the kitchen. My Dad, insisting that it wasn't broken, made me stand up on it. This turned a normal fracture into something much worse, with the bones overlapping.

I now have 1 leg slightly shorter than the other.

As for tattoos. None yet, but I plan to get horribly drunk and have "I AM NOT AN ANIMAL" tattooed somewhere on my back in foreign language.

Or something.

Um, broken ankles, wrists, ribs, cheekbones... I was a clumsy child!

Also torn ligaments in my knees... that was probably the most painful!

I dont have any tats at the moment but Have 3 designs I'm getting just after xmas. One involving a load of stars weaving down my cleavage. Hibiscus flowers on my hips in memory of Neil. I also want something on each shoulder but dunno what yet!

Never broken anything but I do have a pretty huge scar from when I had my appendix(sp?) removed. It's only 2-3 inches long but it's thick and really obvious:nana:

Ive broken fingers and toes, most recently when I was at Uni and rolled over my foot on my wheely chair. That was a bit embarassing explaining why I was limping to people!

As for tattoos, I really want a little pink heart on my hip where my pelvis sticks out but I want to get my tragus pierced first. Needles scare the poop out of me!

Broke my right wrist 3 times, left one once, broke my right hand (boxers fracture), dislocated my elbow, fractured my skull, broke my nose, compressed 4 vertibre in my spine, I couldn't move for 4 months. Uuuum, broke my left index finger, dislocated my left little toe whilst surfing, fractured shin bone. I currently have shin splints.

Tattoos, I'm getting a heartagram on my ass cheek.

O.K.. embarassing breakage was my left forearm, whilst fucking about on a climbing frame..

Tattoo's are, upper left Bicep - Japanese Symbol for dangereous - It looks real cool, but probably means gimp, or some such noesense.

Left Forearm - Some strange tribal symbol, mening nothing in particular.

Right upper Bicep -Another strange tribal symbol, looks like something between the Wu Tang symbol, and Batman... Very, very cool.

Left Pec..(yeah that's my tit,, just above the nipple) I have Gex's head... you remember gex.. the lizard.. on PS2.. god how I wish I never had that done..I would get it covered up with something more manly if Only I had the balls.. that pec hurt more than everything else...

I'll post pics if.. A) I find the camera, and B) I can be arsed..

Oh yeah.. one other breakage was my nose.. when some fucking morrocon decided i was a racist (the fact that i'd never seen, nor heard of said morrocon had nothing to do with it...complete lovebox really)

More injury memories coming back - I broke my right hand during a bad bout of depression, when I punched a workstation screen (and really meant it). During the same depressive period, I had a disagreement with somebody about their driving (the f'ker tried to run me off the road, deliberately), and I ended up with two broken ribs. Still makes me angry thinking about it now...

I have broken two ribs, which was on a playground at my shcool, my parents expected it was just bruised, but I managed to convince them to take me to the hospital, and sure enough. I haven't broken anything else since then, but I have manged to leave scars... well, uh, they aren't sacars, but the should have been, I have used ashphalt as a human grater twice, and I dont have a single scar to show for it. I could swear I have some advanced healng system in my body, because I dont know a single person who has done as much as I have without breaking any limbs. Ever see Kung Fu Hustle? As for tat's, none.

I am a complete spack at injuries. I've managed to knock a tooth out on a table (you can still see the dent I left; nasty sharp things teeth are), knock myself out on a tennis court gate, break the same finger three times and scar myself with a VCR.

Not as bad as my sister though, who skimmed a stone*, aimed wrong and hit my brother in the back of the head.
