Paint Contest #13

[PoofBird]

1. You draw and paint a picture based on a suggestion/topic set by me, and only me. the idea is to draw everything yourself. No source-materials like existing drawings or photographs are allowed.
2. Suggestions and topics that you consider to be fun can be told to me in PM.
3. You are allowed to use MS Paint or similar.
4. Allowed file formats are GIF and JPEG. No other formats. I strongly recommend using GIF, as the compression is much better for paintjobs, though not all of you will be able to make that format.
4a. No BMP!
5. No pics that are Hugh Mongoose.
6. No pics bigger than 75 kilobytes, (if it has to be bigger, put up a link instead of the picture itself)
7. Entries are judged by a poll. When enough entries have been made, I will set up a poll (or it will be set up by a mod) and you can vote the winner and the runners up.
8. Only one entry per person. If you make a second, tell us which one is the real entry for the contest. (this is to make polls easier to manage)
9. Rewards are new: 150 rupies for the winner, 100 rupies for the runner up, and 50 for third place.
10. Can your pics be rude? Of course! But remember their are kids watching, and people at offices too! If it's too rude, or contains nudity, don't post the pic. If you have to, post the url with a warning.

when done properly, GIF will show a paint-job perfectly...
same quality as bmp, only muuuuuch smaller

aye, i drew em little and enlarged em. took fooking yonks aswell. alot of editing an shading with the crappy colour selecter jobby asweel, the first picture was to dark but id saved it by then so it took even longer cause jpg files seem to distort all the time.

Yes, it probably was done in paint, but there is absolutely no way you drew Weebl and Bob in yourself. It's so obvious that they were just copied and pasted onto the picture, then stretched a bit to make them fit. You can see how the grey merges in with the white - you couldn't do that in paint, and even if you could, judging by the quality of the rest of your picture you wouldn't have been bothered. FFS, you even left some black outline where you missed out going over it in pink!

Besides, even if it was done in Paint it wouldn't stand a chance at winning. For that it would actually need to be better than tat.

Lol, by the time id finished arsing around with the image i couldnt be bothered to tidy it properly, weeble and bob were done majratly by hand* and to be honest did involve cut and pasting but only about 10% of the image cause i only had an outline to work with, and it was ALL done in paint, and the reason they got that crappy outline is because of the colour id used previously and i decided to change it after id saved it, and there for since JPG forces picture quality loss and distortion i couldnt be bothered to shade the outline back in with pink and left it.

i woulda minded my manners if she didnt make such a outlandish comment with no explanation into how it could be false, i dont like negative comments without constructive critasism, id accept everything every1 else had said because it contains a decent reason,

oh ive done alot of work for clients with Pbrush, if u know how to use it properly u can do some good looking stuff with it.

i used cad to get outlines-ps dont bother entering it into the competition, it was only meant for a laff.

Really. You can't. Ever.

MSPaint is awful for several reasons which I could list all day. It is never used by anyone doing anything semi-professional and I should know. It is useful only for basic drawing such as quick diagrams and the efforts featured in these contests.

And Poofbird is a guy. Just so you know.

sorry to interupt the contest in this way, but seriously, stop arguing a point that is blatently wrong, for a start, the colour of the shadow, indicated by one arrow, is not even possible to make on paint,

and second, the greenish pixels on weebls mouth, also highlighted by an arrow, are impossible to get on paint in that colour, and are a blatent cut an paste job, i suspect from stavs sight, because it follows pretty much that colour scheme, but that isnt the point, i'm just trying to prove you wrong, as i'm getting annoyed by your incesant arguement, there is no way you hand drew that on paint, end of story

OMG, i never knew the WHOLE argument was in refernce to the drawing of weeble and bob!? the majoraty of it are cut en paste, i wont deny it, i had to re-edit em cause i em streatched em to much -i though it was about the fact no one believed it was finished in paint brush!!!

U can draw some really good stuff on paint it just has more limits and could someone tell me how simple ms paint things take up so much more memery than sumthing very complicated done on photoshop

This is my artwork! yay! I spent a whole monday afternoon on it. Hopefully it works :S but the heart in the left eye represents that fact that I want to find love and give out love (yeah I know, its tereostypical, I didnt know what else to put in it) and the quill in the right eye represents the fact that I have to work hard this year for the schoolcertificate and stuff.
