I should be entering my 2nd year of my Software Development HND, but since my last year ended with 4 people so they stopped the 2nd :(
My entire holiday thus far has been spent working, but it's pretty cool.
I'm dealing with all the overtime, travel expenses and absences for teachers . . .

University of British Columbia, School of Library, Archival, and Information Studies.

I'm doing a Masters in Library and Information Studies.

Essentially it offers either the career path of librarian (more than just the stereotypical variety you might be thinking of though) or anything in the Information Technology field that deals more with the application and retrieval of information than the technical side of computery stuff.

Current courses involve: Cataloguing of Non-literary Materials, Intellectual Freedom Issues, Social Research Methods, and The Instructional Role of the Librarian.

...I expect to be working in an Academic Library, post-graduation, so all of this fits.

I start my first year of sixth form tomorrow... instead of Thursday. The staff made a major cock up and put registration day as today and start of term as Thursday. Then for some bizarre reason it magically changed to yesterday (cue getting up, recieveing phone call and panicking half an hour before it started) and tomorrow. Bumholes.

I have a place at Lancaster Uni to study Psychology, which I almost forgot how to spell.

I am very much looking forward to it although I have no idea what I would do with a psychology degree. Obviously, that part comes later. I have been watching quite a lot of Black Books recently and I quite want to open an unsuccessful bookshop...

However, I deferred my entry to October '06 because I am lazy. So, any such shenanigans will have to wait.

Not at uni yet, but I was at an open day for strathclyde uni today. Also going to dundee and stirling open days later in the month. I want to do journalism so stirling's looking good for that, though there's a journalism and creative writing course on at strathclyde which would be perfect, as I really want to write.
Anyone here go to the aforementioned uni's?

I've already been back at college (2nd year in BTEC National ICT, btw) for two days, sitting through the college's induction week. However, because everything is geared towards the first year, I got the afternoons off for both days, due to the fact that I've seen it all before and they don't need us for anything. \o/

I'm currently in my last year of high school. However, last week, I applied to Kutztown University of Pennsylvania.

Still awaiting a response. It'll most likely be another 5 weeks. Oy. I can't wait.
