Yo mo fo's!
The company I work for has just been taken over and as a good will gesture the previous owner decided to give us money. I'm not sure how it works out (something like €250 for our first year and €150 for every year on top of that). Anyway, so I went into work today to collect my cheque (very exciting as I've never had a cheque before) and opened it up (very exciting) and found out the cheque is worth;
€850!!
So spend spend spend with me. So what should I spend it on?
I can't wait to spend it! I really want a duffel coat, and gym membership, and a new stereo and maybe even some new shit for college!
What to do, what to do?
So I'm done here bragging, I'll leave all ye little (poor) people to dwindle in your meager, non €850 lives!
No seriously, what should I spend it on?

Buy sensible things that you would have had to buy, or really wanted but was just out of reach. This way you will feel you have spent it on worthwhile things.
I know you're a sensible wee lad. :)

Fuck that! I want crap crap crap, I just want stuff. I never have any stuff!
€499 is already minused for the gym, what will I spend the other €251 on? But if you add that to the other €300 I have in the bank it makes €551, and I'm free to spend that because I have no bills or rent due any time soon, so I'm laughing. Oh and plus I get paid Friday too. Rolling in it.
How about a trampoline! but i don't have anywhere to put it!

I am not sure about the exchange rate at the moment, but I am pretty sure that you wave at least double that amount in Aus$. I think a new spiffy TV would be nice and maybe one of those TV licenses you apparently need over there, If you do not already have one.

Build a gazebo in your living room.
You know it makes sense.
"Where you going?"
"I'm off for a beer in the gazebo"
Priceless.

Go into HMV (or your own music shop equivalent) and get all those cd's that when you've got no money you see and go
"Wow! i sooooo want this cd but i'm skint"
So you put it down and forget about and when you've got money you buy something else then later you remember the CD and go:
"Shit. i could of bought that CD that i really wanted instead of this [musical tongue scraper/big gold chain with wobbly headed clown/ tracksuit/insert frippery here]
