Is it sad I'm having the urge to learn? I've been doing utter jack shite for like 7 weeks, its doing my head in, I've had to give up my job 'cause I'll be moving and I've been reading Dan Brown to keep the old brain cells working (vaguely)
I've even resorted to reading and analysing a play from the reading list the uni gave me and they said it wasn't compulsory!
My life is over.

Its like when you go back to school after 6 weeks. Your hand donesn't know how to hold a pen again.
Your brain gets slack without proper stimulation. TV doesn't count.

He's right. I just started on tuesday, and I barely know how to write anymore. But my writing has always been so bad, I don't really care anymore.

I've spent most of the last year posting on forums and playing computer games. I haven't ridden my bike since I passed my driving test last August, likewise I haven't used my brain since the A-level exams. Admittedly, the university is wise to this now, and I must do the first year again...
I'm hoping to do some actual work this time!
I'm sure Weebl and Bob would have something to say about this, but since they aren't here, I decided to try and replicate the source by making a cutthroat team of rebels. After fortnight of privacy, the 3 chimps, half eaten cruller, and aging goat had left without leaving a trace of themselves in the conference room. In the room, I found nothing but a pamphlet of Newfoundland and a small, near illegible note on a piece of paper.:
"Not thinking is an excellent way of becoming a sasquatch, but the exact opposite is an excellent way to become a fridge magnet."
Wise words indeed, wise words indeed

The brain aint no muscle boy.
Yeah, Im bored out of my skull and i still have over 3 weeks till uni starts. Not enough time to find a job, so broke and bored at the same time. Not a good combination.

Not if you watch stuff like The Singing Detective or The Prisoner.

I wish my brain was a sponge so I could just absorb everything they (try to) teach me in school. Its my last year of school this year and Ive never been so stressed out in all my life.
I wish I didnt doss around so much last rear - it would've made this year a whole lot easier on me.
Pick up the god damn books! Wether its for school or not.

I've read all the four newish ones, my favourite being Digital Fortress. For sheer geekyness.
