The Ramones are -in my terms- Flippin Awsome!

They are a throwback to ye old days of rock n roll with no blues influence (like the stones, who are also cool) (But RAMONES are better :) )

They were the basic standard of Rock and Roll, and they were short, sweet, and very poetic.

I like the Ramones, Blondie, Clash, Stones, Talking Heads, Beatles, Donnas.

I Love rock n roll! So put another song in the iTunes baby!

So, what do you think of the Ramones/the best bands of all time in my oppinion?

PS, most of my songs are from LP, 12'' albums, Turntable records, ect.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are better. Each to thier own though.

I can see this turning messy soon so i will just say.

I love the Ramones and i also love the Chillies...

Blood Sugar Sex Magic and One Hot Minute Chillies are better than the Ramoes....

Other newer Chillies isn't, But they are so different you shouldn't really compare.

Does anyone like Far or New End Original?

Laketop, first get your lame butt to know that other people prefer different things, and this is how there was such thing as all the bands you like and dislike reaching the surface.


Your music taste is good, I see you like the early stuff that came out of CBGB's. Ramones are very good. You should check out Richard Hell and the Voidoids/Television, I also recommend Cherry Vanilla - Bad Girl, but you'd be searching quite a while for that. It's the Punk RnB kind of stuff, with piano improvisation. Amazingly good and underrated.

Also look for the Germs. You may like them.
