... Gameboy Colour / Pokemon make you sick?

I got home today (after being away for 4 days) and seeing as it's still my holiday for another week and a half, I decided to dust off the old GB Colour and fire up Pokemon Crystal. I played for an hour and a half, then noticed that one side of my throat had become swollen and it hurt a bit to talk or swallow. So I put the GB down, had a shower, then it was dinner time - which I missed - and then I picked up the GB again and sat on my bed playing for another hour and a half. I only finished this session 10 minutes ago, and noticed that now BOTH sides of my throat are swollen and it hurts alot to talk or swallow. And now I'm hungry.

This may be a coincidence, this may be an auto-immune response my body is having to having eaten too much food in the past 4 days and stopping me from eating so I can lose weight, or this may be one reason why people tell me that gaming is bad for me.

I'M SO HUNGRY! :(

P.S. also have headache, going to doctors tomorrow. Goodbye monies.

I remember when I played pokemon on my GB color, I kept getting the most excruciating pains down my left arm, though that could have been to do with my fracturing my elbow, which lead me to play on my GB, a coincidence I think not

Haha, I'd laugh if it was the GBC that caused it :D

I played my GBC for hours on end and nothing remotely like that happened...
When I play pokemon, I get hooked...really bad...and I play throught at least half the game before being able to stop.

It's not glandular because I had that like 2 years ago :p (and didn't get sick from it). It's my tonsils. Didn't go to doctor. Lay in bed all day playing Crystal. I feel like a giant senestive marshmellow now!

Hehe, I think I actually made my broken arm worse by holding and playing my N64. Had to have an operation to fix that. Doo, dee, doo...
