I have a question about the avatars

It says on the choices that after 0 posts you can specify your own custom one, is that the ones from the list or your own ones you made yourself.
if its ones you made yourself can someone explain it to m e please

well this is a vBulletin board and on some of them the admin can allow people to use their own avatars but on this one that has been disabled so you can only use the ones in the gallery
