Right. This is silly. Why in the last week has everyone in the media been shouting from the rooftops that the Premiership is boring? Why the sudden outcry? A Liverpool-United 0-0? A few teams with clean sheets/scoring problems?

Personally, I think they are saying this because attendances are down, but it isnt because the games arn't entertaining. Bristol City are playing shite, yet still get around 10,000 a week. I say its ticket rpices. Who the fudge can afford to shell out £40-£50 a week to go to a home game? I can't. I can hardly afford my bus travel. Down the road at Ashton Gate its less than a tenner for a game. Odd thing is, its less for Champions League games than Prem games.

Fans have been outpriced from the Premiership. Also players are losing their passion and relation to the fans. How can someone who earns in a week what you earn in 2 years be on your level?

What are all your opinions? Has it gotten boring? Are the tickets too expensive? Are dolphins mammels? Is it Chelseas fault? (Not about Dolphins)

Bristol City always play shite. ;)

Boring Premiership? Pffft. Give me the premiership any day over the likes of Serie A or La Liga. We have the best fans in the world, some of the best players in the world and BY GOD WE INVENTED THE DAMN THING!! :p

In all seriousness, I think the media are having a slow time in the press and wanted a new bandwagon for the start of the season so they dredged the bottom of the barrel for this shit. Give it a few months and they'll be waxing lyrical about how the premiership is the best league in the world again.

dolphins are aliens - it is a known fakt. They are watching us all..

Frankly, if you want proper football, go to a Championship game. However, if you want to see the stars, the Premiership is still where it's at. Like AP has said - it's the prices really.

This grates me so much..."Footballe", a game involving punching, shin-kicking and spear tackles, was invented here and it just so happened to have the same name. (No, it wasn't a Newcastle match. :p) Proper football was 'invented' in Brazil.

England, however, did have the world's first Football Association.

I think putting the blame on Chelsea will do for now.:p

I also blame them for dolphins choking on empty Coke Cans.

Well i don't think its boring i think it's to... predictable. The top 3 never changes. Chelsea United Arsenal always. For once id like to see fulham or bolton up there with all the glory.

It's quite odd really. Scottish football gets slated for being boring and having only two contenders, but after about January, the Premiership gets the same and it's constantly called the best league in the world.

I disagree.
We finished 2nd in 01/02. It wasn't that long ago. I agree that it is becoming predictable with Chelsea winning and Arsenal's long unbeaten run but this isn't a fault of the Premiership. It is down to the Champions League creating an elite of teams. If the same team gets into the Champions League every season then they will be rewarded financially. Thus allowing them to buy better players. The breakaway of 4 teams will kill football like it nearly did in Scotland and we may get closer to a European Superleague. which i don't want

On a positive note, our league is the best in the world. We get to watch some of the best players play for teams we have grown up watching. I love going to watch Liverpool play no matter who the opposition.
