I suck at games, i prefer to watch other people play them than play myself, 1) because i suck at playing games 2)games hate me 3) i'm scared of most games. then I was told to play Final Fantasy so i rushed off and got FFIX for my birthday, In may. 4 months later I'm still stuck on disc one at Gizamalukes Grotto. My party is crap, I think there is no hope left for me unless anyone has any helpful tips for me...?:nana:

you coluld get rid of FF and download CS, you don't have to be at it to enjoy it... hell... i know i suck but still enjoy it

OMG I was stuck on that boss for ages (assuming your stuck on Gizamulke, the boss).

Have you got the Mage Masher weapon? If not...get it. You can get one from Lindblun or pick one up at Ice Cavern. Give it to Zidane.

Have you also got Quina in your party? If not, get him/her from the swamps near were you leave Lindblun.

Your party should be around about levels 15-20.

Try and get Zidane in Trance Mode. With the Mage Masher wiv him, Zidane will deal much much more damage.

Use Freyas Jump ability at all times.

Vivi, use his Black Magic (I aint being on the game in ages so forgive me if I get this wrong but I think you can buy a better staff at Lindblun).

Quina, doesent really have any special abilitys, Cook, its trance, aint gonna work on Gizamaluke, just attack with Quina.

Stock up on potions at Lindblun.

Beat Gizamaluke and your about 3/4 the way through disk 1.

You got a lot of work to do though if you want to beat Necron, the very final boss on FFIX...

I breezed through the game and then Necron was impossible. Couldn't be bothered to start again. a really bad game in my opinion, I really didn't want to bother doing the secrets. Get Final Fantasy 7, 8 or 10. And don't give up on games, girl gamers are the coolest things since sliced beards.

use a tent on him as your first move it poisons him and blinds nd does other things (trust me it works)
