It doesn't have a release date for the US yet, but I think I might just buy the Japanese version.

Finally, it was about time they created an online version. The release date for the us version isn't out though T_T it's gonna be delayed as usual too... I'm not sure there's the slightest chance of it coming out before June of 2006...

I wasn't sure what to think of .hack// at first, but if it's actually going online I may have a looksee at it - provided we still get the little PC desktop thingy :D

I only ever read the manga and it was real good, I wanna try the game somtime, looks sexeh.

I just got into .Hack// (I'm currently being unable to afford the second manga, of which I have been informed there are only three)
Any suggestions as to what I might like to look at?

Ummm no, I never really cared for the manga. But, you seriously need to download the videos for .Hack//GU..... And if you don't have an idea what any of it means, pm me, because it involves lots of spoilers for those who haven't played the original 4 games.

I just couldn't believe it when I saw that video. What's going on in it is just shocking.

haha indeed. Hurray for the news though looks interesting if they put it on pc. I bet you'de see thousands of mages running around shouting "i can feel! im trapped in the game help me!"

.Hack is based on an Anime/Manga series - anyone who is a fan of it keep me right here - and revolves around an MMORPG called The World. Recently, players who play this game fall into mysterious comas and .Hack follows one player of The World who's trying to wake up his friend who fell into one of these comas.

It's meant to be an OK game, with a little computer desktop and stuff when you're not in the 'game' in .Hack, but the UK magazines slagged it as far as I know.
