Primus. Their concert was just… I'd have to make up a word to describe it's awesomeness. How about spiffnessitudastic?

I went to see a band called Mondo Generator live at the academy in manchester.
It was pretty damn awesome. For the vast majority who have never heard of them, the lead singer is Nick Oliveri of QOTSA fame and the guitarist was also a QOTSA guitarist in the first QOTSA album (Dave Catching.)
Nick is an awesome vocalist, he can scream in tune! It's simply awesome seeing him put his all in to it. Dave is a top guitarist, he must be pretty old (no offence dave) but he just looks such a dude and plays so effortlessly. The drummer (dunno his name) is the gurnmaster general, never have I seen such a gurn. Bassist is a dudette, and has this well cool bass and was wearing what looked very much like a nurses uniform.
I was right at the front (small venue, which was quite good) maybe, 2m from Nick, and he dived into the croud several times... so I might have touched him! But then towards the end he got all itchy, started acting spaced out, and then just goes off stage for like 10 minutes while the rest of the band just impro. Comes on later right as rain of course ;)!
MUSE was also good, but we had shit seats, and Matthew Bellamy pisses me off the way he over does the showing off. And he always does that thing on the piano (chromatic?) where he just slides down all the keys and it was PISSING ME OFF SO MUCH!!
BTW I think Josh Homme will be distillers gigs in the UK supporting in a band called "Eagles Of Death Metal". He is their drummer. So don't quote me on this but Homme fans might wanna get tickets for the distillers in feb/march.

Muse definately, Matt Bellamy gets some fantastic riffs out which are also so easy to play, which is great in my opinion. The whole sound they create is simply brilliant as well, especially in Absolution.

Nobody I've ever met on a forum has heard of them, save for one person other than you. Are you really into hardcore?
