Well, the poll (http://www.weebls-stuff.com/forum/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=1967) has spoken and with an 8-2 majority the JFL triumphed over the WSL concept.
So here we are at a new season of the JFL. Welcome.
The teams on offer are....
Birmingham South: Dingbat
Coventry Forrest: Thomp
FC Bristol: Shane
FC Mersey: dogincognito
FC Reading: Disgruntledgoat
Edinburgh City:
Glasgow United:
Leeds Wednesday: Mr stabby
London North: JonnyFFmaster
Stockport FC: seaempty
It is a first come first serve basis. However, teams are now jumbled from Season 1 (http://www.weebls-stuff.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12864). The players who were on fire may not be as great. Players who were cack maybe be world-beaters.
Needed!
* Fixture creator
* 8 more managers
* Graphic designer (kits, badges)
* JFL board (1 Pres, 4 Reps)

Stockport Opt For Past Glories
Stockport FC have revelaed that for the new coming 2nd season of the JFL they will be re-hiring ex-manager seaempty. It once again strikes up the relationship on its 3rd attempt. In the first season of the JFL, seaempty led Stockport to a mid-table finish in his first season in charge before stepping down, unsatisfied with that acheivement. Stockport were then tipped for the drop before seaempty made an emphatic u-turn and led them to an amazing 3rd place until the sad demise of the original Season 2 after 12 weeks.
The Chairman spoke of seaempty's return: "It is brilliant that we can have such an experienced manager on board again. Obviously everyone remembers the achievements of seaempty's first and second stints at the club, now maybe we can make the 3rd one the greatest yet. The club is chuffed to have a past master to lead us into the future."
FC Bristol Appoint Local Shane
FC Bristol, have continued their proud tradition of local managers by appointed local fella Shane for the forthcoming JFL Season 2. Shane beat off competition from fellow Bristolian AngryPaul to the hotseat. FC Bristol finished 3rd in Season 1 after taking the title down to the last day before succumbing to winners Glasgow United.
The FC Bristol chairman said of the apponitment: "Shane is a great aquirement for this club. We deserve a place among the elite and Shane showed his skill keeping Birmingham South up in Season 1, so we think he can lead us to the top. Where we belong."
JFL Clubs On Lookout
After the appointment of new managers at both Stockport FC and FC Bristol, the reminaing JFL teams are on the lookout for new leaders as the second season of JFL comes even closer. Shane and [/i]seaempty[/i] have been snapped up by FC Bristol and Stockport FC respectivley, with AngryPaul also in the frame for a number of the managerless sides.
When asked about his interests, AngryPaul responded without revealing any names: "The JFL is one of the most exciting leagues in the world, and it is still in its infancy and still growing by the season. It was unfortunate for the last season to deteriorate after my illness and I apologise for that, but now we are looking forward to a triumphant return. I have had several offers from certain clubs, but I am not going to rush, and I know that there are other managers about looking to pounce on certain teams. Hopefully we can all get a job and everyone can be happy at their new clubs."

What is the "JFL board (1 Pres, 4 Reps)" thing about?Basically a board for the JFL. I'm, obivously, at the head, but I thought having 4 representatives might be good, because then we can discuss certain actions, whatever I may need. Therefore I don't rule with an iron fist.

FC Bristol Press Statement
Recently appointed manager, Shane Carmichael, had this to say about his new job:
"it gives me great pleasure coming to such a highly esteemed club. I've always supported FC Bristol from a young age, and it's a dream come true to be able to manage them. I feel confident that we can get a top half finish, and with the right players and tatics, we can get into the European places. I can predict great things from this club"

JONNYFFM'S SILVER ASPIRATIONS
London North manager JonnyFFM has made it known that he intends to bring success to his new club in his first season at it's helm. "The JFL league is a tough one. There are alot of decent clubs in there, so no fixtures can be taken for granted. However, I believe we have the talent and depth to challenge for major silverwear." London North open their season at home against Stockport FC. "I'm quite happy with the fixture list. The lads will be hoping to take 3 points for the opening game against Stockport, but it won't be easy."
JonnyFFM also stated that summer transfers are a "Definate possibility" for London North. "I'll be hoping to bring a couple of new faces in the close season. Any squad could do with a little extra depth."

JFL Excitement Builds
JFL President AngryPaul was today entertaining the media as the build-up to the start of JFL Season Two really kicked-off.
*AP walks into a crowded boardroom at the JFL HQ in Bristol. Flashblulbs pop as he takes his seat next to board memebers Shane, dogincognito and JonnyFFmaster. He sips his glass of water and signals for the questions to begin.*
Journalist1: AngryPaul, fans of the JFL have been waiting for months for the annoucement of the actual date of kick-off for the second season. How close are we to hearing that announcement?
AP: Well, we have to take many things into consideration. We wanted all the teams to have been taken. That requirement has been fulfilled. We now want to move on to decide on a adequate period of pre-season to allow people to assess their squads and allow enough transfer activity to allow teams to be a their strongest. For the last step, we want all the teams to have settled with their new managers and for all the media contracts to be sorted. So to answer your question, I beleive we can expect an announcement of that kind sometime in the next week.
J2: We all knew you were interested and in line for a managerial job, either at Edinburgh, or any other JFL sides, what happened?
AP: The response to the managerial positions was overwheleming. We, the JFL board, never expected the positions to be filled so fast. It them came down to either one of the JFL's most popular managers or me in a managerial job. For the good of the game I stepped aside to allow our league to be even greater. Cos, lets be honest, I wasn't setting the world alight in Edinburgh last time was I?
*Journo's laugh*
J3: The teams have been given a shuffle in terms of players ability. Why did you decide to do this?
AP: The reason is simple. It creates a more exciting league. Last time, before my illness, teams were established and had a tag, such as "title chasers" or "relegation fodder", but with the reshuffle we might have those tags switched, and also it stopped all the managers in the know snapping up the best teams. I hope it makes it fairer.
One more.
J4: Will there be an more extensive transfer market this time around.
AP: One word: of course. *AP winks*

EDINBURGH CITY APPOINT STREETY
Edinburgh City have announced that streety is to take charge of the Scottish minnows with immediate effect. This comes as a shock to fans who thought that favourite Scotty McNugget was due to take over.
Edinburgh City chairman Dougie Howser had this to say "We are pleased to announce that streety will be the new manager of Edinburgh City. He comes to the club with a great reputation and I am sure he will take us forward and challenge for a place in Europe."
At a press conference in Glasgow, a jubilent streety proclaimed "I will turn this club around. Any team playing us will not get an easy game."
He added, "It will take time to adapt to the foreign way of life but I am sure I will learn to speak the language in a wee jiffy."

STOCKPORT FC TO BUILD ON SUCCESS
Following their successful campaign last year, seaempty vows to continue where the team left off, and aims for success.
"The task is there to maintain our high standards and improve, so I'll aim to win the title," said the manager, "There's been a few changes with the squad, but I'm confident that we can match any team in the league, and then some".
In a parting shot to the other managers, seaempty finished his statement with a warning. "Stockport are not a team to be taken lightly - never have and never will be. If you come here, you can expect a game, and you should be prepared".

Is 1 a good fitness or bad?1 is the lowest rating. Is the overall out of 50 or 100?just out of interest what are is the highest overall score possible and what are each individual score (eg fit) out of?The overall is the total of all the scores, about 6/7 of them, whereas I've given you the main attributes. The highest possible score in a single attribute is 7. Don't know why its such a random number. Therefore the highest possible marking is around 49 methinks.

Kick-off for the league has shifted to 16th Novemeber to give people a chance to sort out transfers and pre-season friendlies!
To request a friendly with a non-JFL team PM the region you want to play and I'll locate the teams in that area available for freindlies. If you want to play a JFL team, PM them and let me know and I'll set it up!
To get a list of players available for transfer, PM me with the positions, min/max stats required and I'll PM you with the players. Then to make a bid basically PM me back with the player/s you want to bid on and how much. Simple!

Mersey manager speaks
New FC Mersey manager dogincognito spoke to the press for the first time today.
The enigmatic manager has already proved a contreversial figure since his appointment as FC Mersey manager. He was handed the post several weeks ago, but only held his first training session today, two days before the JFL kick off. He has refused to comment on why he has turned up so late, but did give his thoughts on his current squad and the club as a whole.
"I have the spine of a great team here, but the squad needs to be strengthened. The fans here expect success, and I aim to give it to them, but this season our aim has to be a European place. I will be looking to strenghten the team in the transfer market as soon as possible."
"This is a great club, the biggest in the country and one of the biggest in the world. In the long term we should be aiming to dominate this league."

JonnyFFmaster Eager For First Day
JonnyFFmaster quashed any doubts of first day nerves, as he announced his side are and waiting to impose their name on the JFL league tables top spot with a first day victory against seaempty's Stockport FC.
"I can't wait!" said newly appointed JonnyFFmaster. "We've been training all summer for this, and I have full faith that the lads are good enough to not only overcome this challenge, but a vast majority that are throw at them. We've got the talent to go all the way this season." The clearly hungry manager also singled out striker van Hooven for special praise. "I've always had my eye on the lad. He's a great finsher, and a real asset to the team. Who can forget the winner he scored in last seasons cup final? I'm sure it'll be in the back of the minds of the Stockport defense come tommorow!".
London North will have the home advantage over Stockport on the first day of the season, as both managers search for a win to get their league campaigns off to a positive start.

Seaempty has hit back at critics who claim that they are odds on for defeat for their first match this evening.
"I've read that London North's manager believes his team will secure an easy victory", said the manager. "It is true that they have the home advantage, but I know that no game we play in will be a walkover. Young Johnny's a great manager, but he lacks the experience, and that may be prominent tonight".
When asked about his lack of activity in the transfer market, seaempty replied "we've got a great squad here, and we should have enough quality to mount a serious challenge. If needs be, I've got the full backing of the board to bring in one or two players who can do a job for us. But we currently have players that fit into my system".
When questioned whether this means that any failure rest solely on his shoulders, seaempty mustered a "no comment". Has the manager dug his own grave before a ball has even been kicked? Only time will tell.

When asked on the matter of transfer targets, Power seemed quietly optimistic:
"I intend to bring in some players to bolster our numbers, and I hope that they settle quickly and aid us in our attempt to lift the trophy come the end of the season"

JonnyFFmaster continues war of words
London North coach JonnyFFmaster has continued his war of words with Stockports Seaempty ahead of tonights opening JFL clash.
Seaempty had earlier branded JonnyFFmaster as young and inexperienced after the London North boss had doubted Stockports chances of overcoming his team in their opening day fixture. After reading his opposite numbers comments in a local newspaper, JonnyFFmaster was said to be furious at the "Blantant disrespect" shown by the Stockport coach, and vowed to prove his teams and indeed his own worth on the pitch tonight. He added; "I have alot of respect for the other managers of JFL, but it seems that sometimes a few of them can be guilty of talking without thinking.".
London North entertain Stockport later tonight at The Liberty Arena, and after this intensive exchange of views between managers, it is destined to be a heated match.

Birmingham South 3-1 Coventry Forrest
Birmingham started the season with a bang as a 12-minute blitz sealed the win. The game started lively with Coventry having an early penalty shout being turned down. From that clearance Birmingham attacked and Viez fed the ball to Lucas who made no mistake. The next 10 minutes saw some great attacking play from Coventry and Samu'Nagy hit the post before Lucas slotted cooly for his second. Coventry had hardly kicked-off before it was 3-0 as Viez ran clear and beautifully chipped McArthur from 18 yards. Half-time couldn't come sson enough for a shell-shocked Coventry. However, they came out fighting for the 2nd half. Janos hammering home from 25-yards on 59 minutes. Birmingham withheld some pressure for a further 10 minutes and then went on the offesnive. Lucas and Viez were relentless and without the efforts of McArthur in the Coventry goal it would have been an embaressment of a score. As it stood it was a fiar reflection for all Coventry's effort.
FC Mersey 1-1 FC Bristol
A match billed as the pick of the opening week, this tepid affair was dissapointing, but will be seen as a safe start to the season with both teams sure to imporve. Both sides we cagey in the first half with Ody's run down the wing, cutting in and rifling being the only real action. To use the old cliche: 'both teams cancelled eachother out'
FC Mersey, to their credit, fought valiantly in the 2nd half to secure the point, most of all Johnson. He hassled the Bristol defence and it was his shot that was tipped onto the post that gave the corner he nodded in. He deserved the man-of-the-match award for his effort and "never say die" attitude that got Mersey a well deserved point.
FC Reading 0-0 Edinburgh
Edinburgh will be dissapointed with only a point as they easily outplayed their hosts. Heart had the most chances, at least five, but he was continuously hampered by the inspired Joel in the Reading goal. The match got off to a sensational bould-up as manager Disgruntledgoat failed to turn up. He will surely be receiving a JFL repremand and also a warning from his club. As for the match, it was an exciting game, for a neutral, but frustrating for Edinburgh fans, and nerve-shooting for Reading fans as their defence was breached time and time again. Joel earent this point for Reading and thoroughly desered the MoM award.
Glasgow United 1-1 Leeds Wednesday
A controversial penalty decision gave Leeds Wednesday a deserved point. Wonsik ran into the Glasgow box only to take the ball away from Portman in the Glasgow goal and fall over his hand, despite a clear lack on contact.
Earlier in the game Glasgow had started brightly and Kosevski, lively throughout the match, flashed an early shot wide, before scoring with a sublime chip on the edge of the box on 15 minutes. Leeds did not lie down and battled back with Hill also falshing a shot just inches wide.
After the break Leeds went in search of their equaliser and were constantly let down by a mixture of poor execution and excellent defending. Hill was the catalyst for the attacks as his passing initiated the attacks. It was his ball to Wonsik that led to the penalty. Overall it was a deserved draw.
London North 2-3 Stockport FC
Stockport pulled off a fantastic win in a thrilling game in London. Firstly Stockport got London on the back foot from the start. They attacked with intent and prupose and were rewarded when a deflected free-kick fell to right-back Wheatcroft on the edge of the area who's placed shot was more like something expected from a striker. Stockport failed to capitalise for the rest of the half and London dragged themselves back. London blitzed Stockport, and van Hooven seized on a slip by Robinson to nip in and score. Stockport hit back immediatley and Anja slipped in at the back post to score from a cross from de Vito. Again the game did not settle and Jones one-two'd with Andreas and then chipped for Maxim to volley home. The rest of the game was just as frantic, with Anja sealing a deserved 3 points with a fine 30-yard drive 11 minutes form time.
Table to follow....

We were bombarded after the break, but credit to Anja - he is a fantastic prospect, and quite rightly got the man of the match award.
I'm happy that there were a few draws, so it gives us a good start in this league.

STREETY RUES MISSED CHANCES
Edinburgh City were held to a nil nil draw away to FC Reading. It was the away side which came closest to breaking the deadlock with Heart going close several times.
After the match, Edinburgh boss streety had this to say "We came here looking to get something from the match and would've settled for a draw but after dominating for 90 minutes we feel we should've got something from the game."
"We hope to strengthen before the next game with a couple of signings. This should create more competition for places. There is noone guaranteed to start every game."

Power disappointed by poor performance
Today, Coventry Forrest manager Tom Power told the press of his disappointment of Wednesday's loss:
"It wasn't the best of performances, at times we were over-run by the opposition, and we didn't create too many chances, but credit to Birmingham South who played well"
Power is hoping to bring in some new quality to his already struggling team, as The Sun predicts a drab season for Coventry:
"I do intend to bring in new faces, as we need to bolster our squad in certain areas. As for what The Sun said, it's very harsh to start predicting the outcome for my team after one game this season. We'll prove them wrong"

Question time with Mr Stabby
Tonight new Leeds manager Mr Stabby faces the Paxman-like questioning of Jake Mitchell on subjects like Football, other sport, and the number 7.
Q : So, Mr Stabby, what made you apply for the Leeds Wednesday job in the first place?
MS : Well ever since i was small i wanted to be involved in football, but a horrible injury left me with a wooden leg, so that ruled me out of playing, so i chose the next best thing, Managing.
B : How horrific was this injury, can you elaborate?
MS : Well, i was playing cricket, and a high pitching bowl came through my visor and smashed me in the face, i stumbled backwards, and fell, the middle stump went straight through my leg, it was terrible.
Q : Oh dear, that is bad, who did you learn your managment talents from?
MS: Years of shouting abuse at (the) TV, as well as Football Manager for PC, and i have all the qualifications.
Q: Did you have a back-up plan if you didnt make it in football?
MS: I was going to live on the streets sword fighting with fellow amputees, using our fake limbs.
Q: O..k, so you didnt fancy going to the paralympics?
MS: Oh, it crossed my mind, but It never happened.
Q: Do you have any superstitions?
MS: Ive got a thing about the number 7.
Q: What kind of thing?
MS: Not telling
Q: Please?
MS: No
Q: Ok, well we've ran out of time, thank you for your time.

FC READING MANAGER WAKES FROM COMA
FC Reading fans were relieved today to hear of their manager's recovery after he was attacked by a fan of the previous manager in a local nightclub.
Disgruntledgoat has been in the intensive care unit of a private medical centre since the attack when he was celebrating his new post as manager of the prestigious JFL club.
When he was finally asked about his feelings about the new job earlier today he said "Who are you? Where am I? NURSE!!" It would seem that Mr. Goat is taking exactly the same interest in Reading as he was in his previous managerial roles.
His assistant manager, Nick Akass, took charge of their last match, where the team drew 0-0.

London North seek first victory
London North manager JonnFFmasterhopes that his side will preform tonight, and pick up a much needed three points.
"We wern't great in the first game, but I think we deserved a draw..however, we need to put that behind us and focus on the next game. Tonight, the lads need to preform before we lose track of the pack."
London North play away at Leeds Wednesday tonight, with one point seperating the two.

Chitty Chitty Brum Brum
Seaempty's Stockport look to build upon their birght start to the season with the visit of Birmingham tonight.
"Birmingham had a good win last week, but I think they'll find it a bit tougher here. I think the scoreline flattered them a bit, and we should be able to get the 3 points. The boys are really up for it, and, although it'll be a tough game, with this crowd behind us I'd be disapointed with any other result".
What is already being dubbed a crucial six-pointer, the winner knows that they will go top of the league. It should be a good match, with two attacking teams. Let's hope it lives up to the expectation.

Coventry Forrest 2-2 FC Mersey
FC Mersey were frustrated by an amazingly resiliant Coventry as they drew their second match of the season. Coventry started the brightest with Samu'Nagy flashing a drive just wide inside 10 minutes. However, it was Mersey who sprang into life in the 20th minute as van gaart and King combined to slot through for Johnson to turn and score his 2nd goal in as many games. Coventry responded immediatley as Janos made a fine run and forced a fine save from Nikolov. From the resulting corner, Papadimitri thundered home a volley for the equaliser. In the second-half Coventry simply resisted all that Mersey threw at them. Mersey managed to breach the defence on 70 minutes when a kind deflection ina a scramble allowed Meldrew to score from 8 yards. Mersey continued to pressuer Coventry, but the defence - Kemeny and Oswald in particualr - resisted. Mersey's frustration was compounded in the 83rd minute as a counter-attacking pass from Andres allowed Silverton to score.
FC Bristol 2-1 FC Reading
Local manager Shane recorded his first win in charge of Bristol as they produced a fine display against a bright Reading. Both sides screated many great passages of play and it was one of those that gave Reading the lead in the 36th minute. Taeha cut inside and layed the ball off to Black, whose placed shot beat Powell. Bristol hit back and went into the break level. Ody's clever run allowed Silverman to find the space to score. After the restart Bristol imposed their determination on the game and restricted Reading to a few runs on the wings. Eventually a Jung Lee free-kick in the 76th minute settled the fixture.
Edinburgh City 3-3 Glasgow United
A brilliant Glasgow derby was ruined by crowd trouble and an early mass brawl on the pitch. The game started amidst missles being thrown by both sides and it soon influenced the game. Kappo was victim to a horror tackle by Martins and de Vito soon charged in and struck him. This led to all 22 men getting involved in a brawl that led to 8 minutes of first-half stoppage time. After the battle was calmed, JFL referee Jeff Brinkley booked 6 players and sent-off Martins for the challenge and de vito for the punch. Although those scenes will mar the memory of the game, they opened it up and both teams produced some great play. Dongjin's one-two with Aldeke, and cross led to Kosevski's header on 24 minutes. Edinburgh, spurred by their support, stunned Glasgow with their response. Rosadinho scored a wonder goal, taking the ball from the kick-off, skipping past three players, spinning and slamming a 35-yard drive in on the turn [25']. They then took the lead as a mistake from the Glasgow restart allowed Victor to combine with Rower, whose well placed shot beat Portman [25']. Glasgow managed an equaliser just before the break as Brinkley awarded a penalty for a handball by Doskey. Kosevski stepped up and played it down the middle (45'+). The second-half was of a lower tempo, but still high in passion, a few more reckless tackles led to bookings. Kappo, hobbling from the early tackle, got his revenge by scoring a free-kick [66'], but Edinburgh weren't beaten. They pressurised Glasgow and finally, and dramatically, Burton turnt a Rower cross into his own net to end a thrilling match [89'].
Leeds Wednesday 2-0 London North
Leeds Wednesday recorded a maiden win against an unlucky London North. Leeds stunned London, with their fortune, in an early start. Two key slips by defenders allowed Wonsik to nip in and score in the 2nd and 5th minutes. London did have fight in them and both Maxim and van Hooven hit the post with fizzing shots, but Leeds rode their luck and remain unbeaten after two. London however can be pleased with the performance on a whole as they attacked well, but luck was simply not shingin on them today.
Stockport FC 2-0 Birmingham South
Stockport showed their class once again as they beat a poor Birmingham. The triple threat of Anja, Leeroy and Kishevrei was too much for Birmingham to handle as they were run ragged by the trio. Anja tested the Birmingham keeper on a number of occasions and it was one of his saved shots that dropped for Kishevrei to score [19']. Birmingham offered little and Stockport's only complaint maybe that they did not socre more. However, Anja - again the star of the show - supplied Leeroy and the Jamaican chipped the ball up and smashed a volley in from the edge of the area. It was a attractive performance as Stockport moved to the top of the league.

INCOGNITO FRUSTRATED BY RESILIANT FORREST
FC Mersey boss says defence rues lack of cutting edge after draw in Coventry.
Central midfielder Victor Meldrew's 70th minute strike looked likely to give Mersey a deserved victory until Silverton levelled in the 83rd minute. Mersey had previously led in the first half, John Johnson giving them the lead in the 20th minute only to be cancelled out by Papadimitri shortly afterwards.
"It was a much improved performance. We seem to be finding our feet now, but there is still room for improvement. But we lacked cutting edge, we had control of the game for at least 75 minutes of the game, but even when we pressurised we did not create enough clear cut chances. If we had done we would hvae killed them off, if they were two or three behind they would not have had it in them to come back. Credit to them for doing it but we should have won tonight. "
Next up for FC Mersey is the return of former manager Streety with his Edinburgh City side.

TENSE DERBY ENDS IN STALEMATE
A classic 3-3 draw at The Irn-Bru Stadium was marred by fighting amongst the rival supporters. Missles were thrown by both sets of supporters causing a 15 minute delay at kickoff.
However, this just made both teams more determined to win, which was evident on 16 minutes when Martins was late on Kappo. De Vito steamed in and threw a punch which led to a 22-man brawl. Both Martins and De Vito were sent off and will no doubt be facing further action by the JFL Football Association.
The highlight of the match was Rosadinho's wonder goal on 25 minutes. He dribbled past 3 players and slammed the ball in from all of 35 yards. The match finished in dramatic style with Edinburgh equalising in the 89th minute through a Burton own goal.
After the match, Edinburgh manager streety declined to talk to the press. It is understood that he angry at some of the decisions that went against his side.

Top of the table Stockport take on Glasgow tonight, in what should be a lively encounter. On the back of their Scottish derby last week, Stockport manager seaempty is fully aware of Glasgow's threat.
"They had a difficult game last week, and yet still managed to score goals. It would have been an uncomfortable atmosphere, and yet they did OK. Evidently they have some defensive weaknesses, and my strikers will be looking to exploit these. I'm looking for another three points, toenable us to really take command of this league".

I think the transfer list should be re-done, as if you lost your original PMs then I can't remember who I bought, or some people might just generally be confused

One of my purchases scored last week so they have been done.
I didn't hand in a team sheet as the team remains the same.

JFFM Definant, despite loss
London North manager JonnyFFmaster remains definant today, as his side slumped to another loss, which makes for the worst possible start to theit league campaign.
"Yeah, it was a bad loss. We where unlucky, and I felt we deserved a draw. However, we'll keep battling, and we will climb the table. People have not yet seen what this team has to offer."
JonnyFFmaster may need to start picking up points for London, before the chairmans axe starts to hover around his head.

London Won't Sack Pr0nny
After recent reports in the media that JonnyFFmaster's job may be at stake if London's fortunes do not change were quickly batted away by the chairman of the club.
"We have only just installed Jonny as manager and everybody is trying to find their feet. Its happening in every club in the JFL. We won't be making any rash decision on the basis of 3 games. We are not Newcastle. Jonny will be staying at this club. We beleive in giving him the opportunity to prove himself. We are not in a great position at the moment, but we can recover. Jonny will be in cahrge when we do."
Table for y'all...

Glasgowing Mad
After their defeat to Glasgow, Stockport FC's manager had this to say:
"In all my time in this game, have I never seen such an unfair game. It was like they had 12 men on the pitch, with some of the decisions the ref was giving. Their lads only had to run over a twig on the ground, and they'd get a free kick. When you're playing against decisions like that, it's always going to be tough. I feel we controlled the game, and from where I was sitting, certainly one of their goals was offside. I almost went up to the linesman and gave him my glasses, as I'm pretty sure he had forgotten his. But surprise, surprise, they got the favourable result. The lads are upset, I'm upset, the fans are upset. We'll bounce back though, and we're still top of the league, which is the best place to be in".

JFL Take Steps To Warn Empty
The JFL board are taking steps to warn Stockport FC manager seaempty after his comments about the officials of Wednesday's game between Glasgow and league leaders Stockport, which Glasgow won 2-1. JFL President AngryPaul gave this statement:
"The JFL trys to allow for a abundant amount of room to allow managers to express their feelings, but we beleive that these comments were detremental to the officials that the JFL provides."
The referee for the day was one Edward Bond with his assitants Joe Orton and Derek Rattigan running the lines.
"We are not going to take any actions against seaempty as we can see from some of the replays that Edward, Joe and Derek were not always 100% correct in their decisions, however, they are doing their jobs and need to treated with respect. We are issuuing seaempty with a warning about his future conduct. We encourage managers to give opinions, but without criticising referee's."

Club Statement
After his reprimand by the JFL, Stockport Manager seaempty has made a statement:
"I'm appalled - but not surprised. They have levied a suspended caution on me - so if I have any criticism I will not be able to voice it. Nobody is beyond criticism - not me, not the JFL - as long as it is constructive.
I will however accept this caution, and not appeal. I can see how some of my comments may have been misconstrued. For me now, the matter is over - water under the bridge, and rubbish under the carpet".

Power delighted by win
Coventry Forrest manager, Tom Power, was clearly delighted with his player's commitment and resilience with their 1-0 win.
"The players gave it their best, and by doing so, have given us our first win of this very competitive competetion. We kept a clean sheet, which was important, and this will be a huge morale boost for fans and players alike"

Time for a change
Today Glasgow manager has confirmed that Simpsons will be leaving the club.
The CB has been rumored not to be happy that he isn't playing and has been thinking of leaving since the start of the league.
Captain has this to say.
"Following yesterdays match, when Simpsons wasn't picked he asked me if he could be placed on the transfer market.
I told him if he doesn't feel he has a place in the team then he may leave, but he will be missed and i see him as doing great things with his career."
Today Simpsons went on the transfer market for 1 mil to 1.5 mil.
